Living Spaces has the most dreadful and incompetent customer service I have ever seen or experienced in my life. They make promises they dont keep. Even had the customer service rep hang up on me. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. THESE PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE!!!

Living Spaces never budged from there original position. I have never used there merchandise and never.

Their position is that I am only a lowly customer and er are a large company do they do not need to deal with me. My happiest day will be when they go out of business.

Living Spaces refused to take back the pillows, one if which was never used and the other was causing health issues even though it was used one night. They said the only thing they "might" be able to do would be to offer a discount. The pillows are useless to me. I was vaccinated against COVIT well before the purchase. Bottom line is corporate profits come first and customer satisfaction is not part of their equation. It was an expensive lesion on my part but hopefully a higher authority will deal with this terrible company in the future.

Incompetent! they ignore customers, they screwed my order up 6 times, I misses two days of work, other days waiting for deliveries that didn't happen. They kept delivering scratched up couches and couches that functions did not work. they refused to talk to me and deal with me after they screwed up over and over. Their customer service is crap. *** Living Spaces!

I ordered my furniture on 3/7 and as of 6/17 I still do not have my furniture. The hold times for customer service are extreme and they can only give you the practiced responses. They are trying to say all of my pieces are custom orders when they are not and are unwilling to provide any compensation for the inconvenience.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from your company on April 10 2021. A representative of Living Space visited me at my home on that day.

Your representative walked in and started telling me that I am supposed to do this and that before he got there.

He then proceeded to leave a range of products in the living room and did not tell me what it was. I repeatedly tried to ask your representative about the products that were of interest to me, but he refused to deal with my questions. He was rude and unprofessional. We ended our meeting after 25 minutes without either of us having accomplished anything.

My impression of Living Space at Company has been tarnished, and I am now concerned about how my existing business is being managed by your firm.

Furthermore, your agent's inability or refuse to remove the boxes and trashes he brought with the product I ordered that I have had to engage in the cleaning services.

I trust this is not the way That Living Space wishes to conduct business with valued customers.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss matters further and to learn of how you propose to prevent a similar situation from recurring. I look forward to hearing from you.

Living Spaces takes orders for products they don't sell

I ordered a sectional. I asked in writing if Living Spaces manufactures the product. In writing I was told yes. In writing I specified that if they could not deliver with-in the time frame of order then I would not place the order. I was told in writing that Living Spaces was delivering ahead of schedule. Now I'm receiving emails saying they do NOT manufacture the product and they don't guarantee delivery. So

I purchased 2 - $200 pillows and found them to be terrible. When I tried to return them store would not do so. Also purchased a $3000.00 mattress and bedding. Total bill over $4000.00. This is a terrible company and their customer is also terrible. Unable to reach by phone with every call taking 30 minutes and quality of call terrible when they finally answered. I for one will never deal with this store again.

Horrible Experience

Living Spaces - Horrible Experience
I ordered Couches and two accent chairs Labor Day weekend, 2020. My delivery timeframe was originally 6-8 weeks. However, I did not receive my couches and 1 chair until January 2021. I only received them because I kept calling and found out they were sitting at the warehouse waiting for the other chair to arrive. I told them to ship out the items they had on hand as it was already way past expected delivery. Once received, I called because my pillows were not correct. Still no update on those. About 1 week later, I received my second accent chair, but it was missing the legs on the bottom. I called that same day, and someone was getting it taken care of. Two calls later, still no resolution. Here we are over a month later, and finally someone was able to submit the order correctly but now I just received an email stating to give them 8 weeks to ship out! Are you kidding me?? This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. My couches already have a tear (we noticed this after we unpackaged them as we did not opt for white glove delivery) and I still do not have legs on one of my chairs. We moved into our new house on 11/2/2020 and were without couches/chairs for over two months. Over 5 months after our initial purchase and still need to wait 2 more months before the bottom of our chair legs will be delivered. Not worth the wait at all.

Penn Foster are a bunch of people who will lie and steal from the students anytime they can get by with it. Here is my story. I send in checks larger than my payments are to be to be honest with them and to get my bill paid in full. In Nov. of 2020, I sent them a check which just about paid my account in full. The check was lost in the mail and each time that I got online with the school, I always checked my balance. It bothered me that my one payment didn't reach the school so In Dec. of 2020, I called the school and had a nice talk to them about the payment. The person that I talked to stated that this call was put in my records of the missing payment. I informed the staff member that I would wait until that Friday to see if the check should arrive and if not, I would call back and make the payment good to them. I waited until Monday of the following week and called them and was told that the check didn't come. So I informed them that I would make a over the phone payment and for them to destroy the check if and when it comes. Again I was told that this was placed in my records for the check to be destroyed if and when it comes.

I was balancing my check book in Jan. of 2021 and saw that the original that was lost was cashed in by Penn Foster who were to destroy the check since I made payment over the phone. I called right away and I was treated like some kind of *** I asked for the money to be returned and the lady that I was talking to told me right out that the check was cashed and since it was cashed, there was nothing that they could do for a refund. I stated to her that my money from that check was free money to Penn Foster then and she stated "yes it is". I was lied to one the phone not once, not twice but three times about the check and they stole that money right out from under me even when it was understood that the check was to be destroyed.

Don't go to Penn Foster at all because that is what they do is lie and steal from the students like they did to me. So for me to get my money back is to take another class from this lying, crooked place so that my money will not be free money to them. Don't believe a word they tell you. They tell you one thing and then turn around and lie about it to your face. I know now that is another check comes up missing while being forced to take another class to recover the money they stole from me, I will not make anymore over the phone payments nor replace a check that has been lost. Penn Foster will keep it.

Find another college to go to. Not Penn Foster, the lying and crooked jerks that they are.

Worst customer service ever!

Went to Living Spaces to purchase a new sectional couch. Talking to the sales person she talked us into the carefree insurance.

We hesitated at first, but she was very convincing on why we should get the insurance.

We were happy with our couch until we smelled smoke coming from the USB electrical consul, we immediately unplugged our electronics and unplugged the consul from the wall outlet.If we weren't home it could have burned the house down.

Contacted the carefree insurance she sold us on sent them pictures told them what happened. Carefree said we could get a new USB electrical consul. They said to contact

Living spaces to get the new one. I called and living spaces said they were on back order

that I had to wait till they came back to stock.

I waited a month no phone call, so I call living spaces, they told me they no longer carry that sectional.

Living spaces told me I can get a whole new sectional to replace mine, but they needed an okay from Carefree ins. Carefree wont get back to me or Living Spaces.

WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EVER!

I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING WITH LIVING SPACES EVER.

I RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR BUSINESSES ELSEWHERE.

I purchased 2 recliner chairs and added the 5 year warranty. When they delivered the chairs they delivered the wrong color so they took them back and started a new order with the correct color and delivered the correct chairs about 2 weeks later. 4 years old and all the dye/coverings are peeling off. Called the VIP care plan and living spaces as we couldnt find our paper work and we where told we did not purchase the warranty or care plan for 5 years. (We thought we did but we should of) Well I just found the paper work and we did pay for the 5 year warranty. I called them and they said oh well its expired now. Yes of course it is but it wasnt when I called you! They agreed and said I called within the warranty period and VIP care have a record of that but they looked up the wrong order and thats why I was told I didnt have the warranty. Nothing they can do!!!! They admitted I called within the warranty period. They admitted they made the mistake. And they told me tough luck. Wow. We have spent about $30,000 over the years with this company and will never be back. They looked up the order for the wrong chairs they delivered by their own mistake and now I have to pay for their negligence!! Great service and luckily now we have 2 other Big Furniture companies in HB.

About a month ago, I went into the Van Nuys, Ca Location, and purchased bunk beds for my two daughters and me. I am a single mother with a tight space, so I figured that bunk beds would work best for us. I spent all of my savings on this bed. My delivery was scheduled for Friday, October 2., when the installers came to assemble the bed; they realized that the wooden slats where the mattresses rest were the wrong size. They left the bed and the slats. They told me to call customer service so that they could schedule a delivery for the correct slats. When I called customer service, I told them that I have two young daughters, and one of them has a heart condition and requires oxygen at night, so I would need the bed to be complete ASAP. They assured me that the slats would come the next day, Saturday, Oct 3. I was disappointed because I got rid of my old bed to fit the new one as the Living Spaces delivery policy requested. My daughters and I slept on the floor and expected the delivery for Saturday. Saturday came and went, and no delivery. I did not receive a text, a call, or an email explaining why my delivery never came. I called customer service once again and was on hold for nearly 2 hours. Since then, I have spoken to about 10+ different operators, and they all reassure me that the delivery will be made. It is now Sunday, October 4, and they tell me that I will not get the slats until Wednesday, October 7. I've explained to them my situation, and they do not care that my daughters and I are sleeping in a tight corner on the floor every night and that my daughter has a heart condition. Living Spaces has put my daughters and me in a very hazardous situation. I have been trying to resolve this issue in the most civilized manner possible. However, they keep transferring me from person to person, and they tell me that they will call me back, but they never do. Each time I speak to someone new, I have to re-explain my situation, and the delivery gets pushed back further and further.

I purchased more then 10K of furniture including 6 leather chairs all of which broke. I also got talked into paying extra for the warranty. When I made a claim with the store they sent me to the warranty people who then sent me back to the store and so on. Now I finally get a denial of coverage from the warranty company who say that the damage is more than 30 days old which is only partially true. And the store tells me they wont cover because while the damage occurred in the first year I did not report it in the first year which is no true.
