Worst ever, LivePOS is Terrible

Worst POS program ever. Full of bugs, constantly crashing. Try calling tech support, ha, not only are they impossible to hear, but they resolve nothing, and never call back like they say they will. The system is Down again 12-1*-** *pm central. been down for an hour so far. what a waste of money they should do the honest respectful thing and shut their business down and pull their product. They failed! Please heed my words and do not get burned by LivePOS!

BUYER BEWARE****

Live pos has cost me 10's of thousands of dollars over the last 6 years. Why havnt I switched?? Because It is a big time commitment to set everything up (at least 5 days). I am finally done dealing with their worthless, clunky interface that crashes, freezes, loses sales in transit. Their servers were overloaded on Black friday and everyone was shut down. Today, my credit card processing has stopped working for the last 3 days. their response was that it has gone to Level 2 support. they were unable to give me a time, day, week or month that this problem might be resolved. So I am once again out of business till they decide to get back to me and maybe fix it. Dont even call them, you may have a lapse in judgement and decide to try it. thats when you are trapped.

Hate this company with a passion

Seriously this company is worthless...Constant website freeze and POS crashes. I have called them at least 20 times in the course of a year no issues have ever been fixed. They always promise callbacks but have never once done so regarding any of these issues. Doing payroll is a constant dread...Last time I did payroll I attempted to do it at home then at work and on my smartphone. The Admin site would just freeze up. Called their customer service who completely denies any liability on their end. The Technical support talks to me as if I am a ***. Said it was an issue on my side. How does your site freeze on my home computer, work computer and on my mobile at three different locations and with all three having different ISP connections? Then they tried blaming it on the browser I was using...I have IE, Chrome, and Firefox. When every other website I go to works just fine and theirs doesn't. Not just that they overcharged me for two months this past summer...Its been 4 months and they wont refund it keep promising me I will get a credit and still have yet to receive it. I have asked to speak with supervisors and managers and still have never got in contact with them. I have been trying to switch to Square but since I am with a franchise I am forced to use this *** company. They should really change their name to LIVE PEICE OF ***...cant wait till this business is sold so I don't have to deal with them anymore.

Livepos sucks

Livepos has done it again folks. It's black friday and their servers have crashed again. We cannot make any sales on the busiest day of the year!! These guys have a great answer when we call tech support. "we will call you when we find a solution" It's freakin black friday and i cant sell anything or even open my cash drawer! It's not the first time and i am sure it wont be the last, I am going to find an alternative pos system after the holidays, till then i am screwed!! These guys are operating without their clue.

I believe they offer an offline mode at this point, dunno if they did back in 2010....

The reporting side of the system was in fact offline (due to a DDOS attack)however the point of sale systems at the stores were ringing up customers without any issue or delay The reporting side came back online 6 hours later. Although this incident was out of our control,we kept our customers updated every step of the way and posted an official explanation and apology when the issue was resolved late Friday night! ---LivePOS Team---
