I turn to them when i was bout to loose my home and i was send my money faithful to them every month And got mess over bye them and a law firm in Florida.I like to lost my home mess with them, Every dime i gave them they should pay it back to me.

Under no circumstances should you consider yourself "safe" from a pending foreclosure by sending money-for-services to the New York law firm of Litvin Law. In 2012 my home was sold on the steps of the courthouse even though I had sent monthly payments to Litvin Law, and/or their predecessor and subsequent referring partners-in-crime, Home Law Center (Pompano, FL).

These folks are not out to help you. Their sole purpose is to generate income from monthly fees extracted from individuals who are looking for help to save their homes from foreclosure.

I was scammed of thousands of dollars and do not want another individual to experience the same.

Litvin Law promised that they would be an intermediary with the bank and could absolutely stop the foreclosure from happening. I believe the only thing they did was to take our money.

It does not appear that they even contacted the bank. As I confronted them on their lack of progress, they suggested that I go to a lower payment (to them) rather than cancel all together...this was also a scam to try and bleed as much $$ as possible from unsuspecting people that are already in trouble.

We lost our entire life savings and retirement in the housing scam, and they just made it worse ...we lost our home as well. How do these p[eople sleep at night?

Oh I just received mail Litvin filing bankruptcy. I read all these reviews and yes I'm one of them.

They got 10,000.00 of our money. They drag their ***. Kept wanting more paperwork. Never got any questions answered..

I was my own advocate we almost lost our house. I'm back where I started. 25 grand tacked on the back of my mortgage. Paying 90 a month for 60 months for other fees and only down a half percent.

They ruined our lives.

I had a nervous breakdown because of them. I think I'm entitled my money how can I get it back..

I paid these people over $12,500.00 over a period of almost 2 years, month after month submitting the paperwork the "bank" was requesting. I couldnt understand why it was taking so long.

When I started questioning them, all of a sudden, the bank settled and surprisingly, I was denied. Then they wanted to resubmit. I guess they didnt get enough money out of me. When I called to cancell my account with them, the supervisor came on the phone and tried to use their "scare tactics" with me.

Do not go to any lawyer for a modification, they cannot and do not have the authority to deal with all of the different programs that are available to people. You need to contact a broker. Im so sick that I wasted all of my money on these thieves!

Read the reviews, they are not good and they are all true. I lived it!!!

litvin law firm is a ripoff business they took me for over $6000 said they save my home from forecloser all they did within a year get me a one month delay on sheriff sale got another lawyer went under chapter 13 to save my home only had two weeks to get this started as LITVIN LAW FIRM never let me know. i ask for a refund from them they sais no way turn them in to NY STATE BAR ASSOC.

AND FTC do not repeat do not use this place they take all give little will let FTC get after them to get my money back. BEWARE OF THIS SO CALLED LAW FIRMA

This so called law firm ripped me off for close to $7000.00. Did they claim they could get me a long mollification and Apple about a year of the mollification and that came bag was higher then what I was paying before

For two years Litvin Law Firm scammed me out of $10,000.00. I would always call the firm to get an updated report in which they could not produce but only made promises.

I spoke with 10 different people over a 2 year period and they all seemed to be youngsters who were very determined to get a payment from me and then they would promise that the settlement of the issues will be done. This was promised over and over again. I want my money back!!!

I am so tired of unfaithful people who prey on others for their gain. I hope that all who are involved be dealt with and put to shame!!!

In 2012 Litvin Law Firm took our monthly payment for their "services" when we were in a very vulnerable position. They bundled meaningless paper work up to look as if they were doing research when basically it was a title search we had run ourselves before contacting them.

They were impossible to get hold of when we tried contacting them by phone numerous times. When we did actually speak to someone, we were assured things were moving forward. In the end when dealing with the bank we discovered nothing but a form letter from Litvin Law had ever been presented to them. The bank itself had not been able to contact Litvin on our behalf and had not received any of the requested paper work from the firm.

If we had not realized when we did that Litvin was a scam we would have had our home sold out from under us. All the while we were making a monthly payment to them in good faith that they were helping us to save our home of 10 years and the only home our 5 children had ever known. We did have to give our home up in the end, we had depended on Litvin for too many months to take care of the situation, which they were in reality, not. By the time we realized they were doing nothing on our behalf the only way out we had was to negotiate a short sale through a realtor as Litvin Law had failed to negotiate a deal with the bank.

We have since relocated and I am just now recovering enough from the emotional pain of the experience to post this review.

Please, do not consider Litvin Law when in need of help. They are all advertising and no action!As far as I am concerned, they stole from us.

this is are second time around this time litvin law firm said and i quote that we wouldnt lose our homewe paid them 1000. dollars they kept draging their feet.

then oneday we got a letter saying that our home was to be sold at the courthouse doors we was so upset that i couldnt even talk we fax to the firm and they call back and said not to worry it would be fine they still took money out of account.

then 3 weeks ago the lawyer called DOUGLAS HOWARD AND WE SAID YOU LOST YOUR HOME!!! I WAS CRYING SO HARD THAT I GOULDNT GET MY BREATH.NOW IAM ON MEDS NOW WE HAVNT HEARD ANYTHING FROM ANYONE AND WE ARE STILL IN HOME AND WITH MY DISABLED MOTHER.GOD HELP THIS IS LIKE LIVING ON A CLIFF

The scamming ring I am involved with includes several companies: Home Owner Rescue Mission; Prime Access Mgmt.; Prime Legal; Beneficial Finance; Litvin Law Firm, PC. There could be more entities involved. Scammers tend to present multiple business identities to extend the range of their scams. I filed a complaint here using Home Owner Rescue Mission as it was the company with which I had first contact.

No doubt, all of these entities are in league with each other. None of the Prime company numbers are being answered. The law firm and Home Owner Mission are not returning phone calls.

The FBI needs to be contacted be each person who is involved. This is interstate fraud. And, unless people stand up to these crooks, we all lose.
