Absurd service department

-Daughter dropped off deleted 2015 F-250 to get a new key fob Monday -the tech flashed Ecm deleting data -found out its 1200$ to buy new data -called my 24 year old daughter(full time college student) told her they found someone that can fix their screw up but she will have to pay $1200 to fix it- OMG -incompetence, lack of responsibility created by their actions and not wanting to pay for the consequences - shameful -if LITHIA Ford Missoula has any integrity they will pay the $1200 and train their techs so this isnt normal

Poor service

Was told I had to agree to cost of 574$ to have car placed on diagnostic. Air conditioner not working well. Taken in previous for same problem. 2018 Pacifica with life warranty. They stated Freon sometimes evaporates and needs to be replaced. When told that I needed to think about the cost, I asked them to just park the van on lot and I would pick it up after I got off work. The employee stated he was going to park it in the street. And that was exactly what he did. Very large lot. No reason to be rude. Not my first difficult interaction with this service center.
