Went to lithia they lost original key I brought in
Lost original key I brought in to cut my key for key fob then couldn't get key fob working . The car was working when I brought it there but hasn't worked since.
In my opinion stay far away as possible from them. Then they started sending me letters in mail to buy my car.
I do not ever want to sell my car. Not cool.

I took my fairly brand new 2011 Jeep Liberty into Lithia Dodge here in Billings, Montana to notify them of my power steering boots leaking between the ends of the steering-gear assembly and the arms linking the assembly to the wheels. If fluid is leakingneed to be replaced.the wheels.
They told that the steering-gear assembly and the arms linking the assembly to the wheels would all have to be replaced. This is the first vehicle I've ever owned that this has happened to. I bought this brand new in 2011 and they said that I missed the 2 year warranty on it and that I'd have to pay $700 total with parts and labor. There's only 20,000 miles on it and I hardly drive it except to work and back.
There is no way I'm paying for this and I need someone from the Chrysler Headquarters or from wherever to notify Lithia in Billings, Montana that this will not be paid for by me but under either the warranty or I want another new vehicle to trade into. The front axle has already been ordered and replaced and that wasn't even the problem. It wasn't leaking at all.
It was the power steering-gear assembly boots that are leaking.

I was robbed by Lythia Dodge in Billigs Montana . I put 10,000 dollars down on a Lease Truck that I intended to purchase .
It turned out to be a lemon and I lost it all. It was a 2007 Diesel 2500 , they could never make it run right . I gave it back to them and they kept all the money . They have never offered to make it right or give me any of my money back.
I am thourouly pissed at this place . They owe me and they could care less.
I have talked to everyone I could and have complained over and over . I am sick to this day cause of what I lost to them .
I have a thought. Perhaps you have thought of it also---hire a shyster attorney and sue.
That's what courts are for. To litigate and judge.

The issue was resolved but I'll never buy another Jeep again from anywhere. Brand new vehicles just don't have issue replacements after 3 1/2 years!
I've never had this problem with any vehicle that I've owned including used vehicles.
The warranty on parts definitely needs to be looked at. 2 year warranties on parts that shouldn't have to be replaced until at least 17-20 years old!
