Rude and Condescending
I asked them to cancel my order a few hours after I placed it. I got a call from them (Raymond Brown, per caller ID) and he basically told me that I was not acting like an adult because I messaged him on FB Messenger instead of directly from the website, and he also told me that he thinks I am lying about the reason for cancellation.
First, I DO NOT need to give him a reason to cancel. That is my right as a consumer. And he does not know my situation enough to openly call me a liar. And second, in this day of Social Media, a lot of companies, small or big, use it to communicate.
Maybe get with the times and technology?
I know I dodged a bullet here by canceling my order. Future buyers, beware. You might get lucky and not need it, but should you need service post purchase, be ready to deal with the most condescending and rude people ever! I have YET to deal with any customer service that was this rude.
And the worst part is when I called him out on his tone and use of words, he basically laughed it off and said you get my point. Wow

I ordered a vanity from List Vanities on March 11, 2021. I received an email comfirmation of the order for the $1538 vanity and countertop.
My wife and I chose the vanity from a variety of vanities advertised by List Vanities. I called a couple of times to learn what was happening with the order, because I wasn't getting any information from List Vanities. After waiting for more than two weeks, I called and spoke with Ray. Ray was very cordial and apologized for the delay, stating that there were containers of vanities on a ship in California, which weren't being unloaded, and that he had no idea as to when the vanity I ordered would be shipped.
I had a contractor scheduled to do a bathroom renovation, and I needed to have the vanity for him to install. I explained that to Ray, but there was nothing he could do to expedite the shipment. So, after three weeks and a day after ordering the vanity, I called Ray on April 3 to cancel the order. Ray sent me images of three vanities he had in stock, with similar styling.
However, they were of a dark wood, which I wasn't interested in. When I told Ray that I wasn't interested, and only wanted the vanity I ordered, he became extremely rude, claiming that I was "splitting hairs" over the differences between the vanities he offered, and the one I ordered. When I told him to cancel the order, he became downright nasty, and told me that a 3% charge would be deducted from my refund, which amounted to $46.
So, I waited three weeks and a day for delivery, with Ray not knowing when the container on the West coast would be released, and then was treated very rudely because I canceled the order, and charged $46 because List Vanities couldn't deliver timely.
Will I ever attempt to do business with List Vanities again, after being penalized for attempting to do so the first time? Rather doubtful.
Given the circumstances, I shouldn't have been charged $46 for List Vanities' failure to deliver. I'll file a complaint with the BBB, and write to the Pensylvania Attorney General regarding the legality of the charge.
If you choose to do business with List Vanities, make sure you understand what your options are regarding reasonable wait time, and the consequences of canceling your order should that wait time be exceeded. There's no legitimate reason for anyone to be charged an order cancellation fee if a vendor can't deliver timely.
P.S. I sent a copy of this review directly to List Vanities to let them know that I posted the review.
Their response to my review is as follows:
Hi Todd,
Whoa buddy, lot of effort over 40 dollars. Thats our policy and it has nothing to due with being rude. You excepted the wait, we checked multiple warehouses sourcing you a similar product that was available, you replied you will wait. You turned around, sourced something locally, notified us about it, we refunded you the full amount of your transaction, minus the 3% transaction fee according to our policy that day.
Accept it and deal with it like an adult, not a little child. What we can assure you of, is that your measaly review, means nothing, will do nothing to our business, and will be drowned out, by all the customers, that appreciate the work we do for them. Now, do not ever contact us again and get lost.
Since first posting this review, I've received many emails containing nasty language and insults, all because I cancelled an overdue order, and because I didn't want the vanities offered as substitutes for the vanity I ordered.
First, They wanted me to take down the review in exchange for the $46 cancellation fee, which I didn't agree to.
Then, I was threatened with a small-claims suit for $2000,00, for which there's no basis. So, my experience with List Vanities/Bathrooms Direct has not been a pleasant one.
Preferred solution: All I'm looking for by posting this review, is to make others aware of the way they're likely to be treated if they choose to business with Mr. Brown.

Verified ReviewerTerrible Company to do Business With . . . .
I ordered a bathroom vanity frim this company. Seventeen days later, I sent an email asking the status as the online status just said not finished.
I was told they could not access their warehouse for at least another week. I have contractors coming in 20 days and I obviously don't have time to play around, so I cancelled my order. The communication from their customer service was as follows: Jeff, We are an online retailer. We represent over 50 different manufactures of bath vanities and products, over 5000 bath vanities alone.
The bath vanities ship directly from each individual manufactures warehouse. This vanity that you ordered, this manufacturers warehouse is temp shut down due to COVID-19. This is the case for every single online retailer you will come across. All bath vanities ships like this.
Home Depot, Loews, Houzz, Overstock, etc ect. Unfortunately this model will only come available when the ban is lifted and they are able to return to the warehouse. In addition to the pandemic, there is the Tariff war and Anti-dumping tax causes most Antique models like the one you purchased to be out of stock without any ETAs for replenishment. Here are a few models, also in stock, in warehouses still active that we can ship out right away.
Hope this clarity can help with your decision.
I replied: As I stated, please cancel this order. Home Depot has one in stock that will arrive by April 6th that I have ordered.
Their reply: Jeff, Right where you belong sir. The cheapest made product on the market, Home Decorators Collection. We are happy to return your fund first thing tomorrow.
Best of luck with that purchase,
My final reply: They deliver within a reasonable time. They also communicate with their customers in a timely manner when an item is delayed and don’t force the customer to come looking for you. My review will also reflect you abysmal customer service as well as your denigration of a competitor’s wares. Jeff
I worked in IT customer service at NASA and I would never dream of speaking to a customer in this manner.
If you condone this behavior, by all means, order from them. Like another poster has said, "Just hope nothing goes wrong!!!!"

Excellent site
Site is amazing to navigate, extremely user friendly and very informative. I called CS to ask about shipping times and inventory status and a rep was extremely helpful and even had spec sheets for our contractor ready to go.
Our vanity arrived 4 days before the estimated delivery and ListVanities emailed us updates, tracking info, and instructions, the entire timeline after our purchase.
Top notch service necessary with a high end purchase. Highly recommended!
No communication over the last 10 days about when I will get my vanity delivered
I ordered a bathroom vanity around 4 weeks ago from listvanities.com. They charged my credit card 4 weeks ago and I was told it would be shipping out of southern ca about 10 days ago to arrive at my house the end of last week.
I have called the company listvanities.com every day last week to see what day I would get it and they kept saying they didn't know but it would be here by the end of the week. It is curbside delivery and weighs over 200lbs. So I need some people here to help with it. In addition I need to schedule my contractor to install it.
The vanity still has not arrived as of The following week and no one has contacted me.
I have no idea when it will be here. DO NOT DUE BUSINESS WITH THIS CO?

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY LISTVANITIES.com
I am SO SO sorry I did not research this company and all the complaints before I made a $1,500.00 purchase from them. They are the RUDEST people I have ever dealt with.
The bathroom vanity was to be delivered, however, before delivery they emailed an invoice along with specific instructions NOT to sign anything until package is FULLY inspected. Well..the trucking company "Road Runner" aka RRTS.com is a NIGHTMARE! the driver wanted to dump the 300 lb. vanity on the STREET!
I called Listvanities right away (the driver was jumping into his truck to leave WITH the vanity) and spoke to Victoria in customer service, she tells me it is "Curbside" delivery. Now, there is NO place on the invoice that states that! Her response, was to refuse delivery, however, they do not know when the vanity would be delivered again, IF they delivered it at all..hmmm was that a threat?? anyway, I ask to speak to manager, Victoria tells me there is nobody there at the moment.
So, I wait five minutes and call again, and spoke to RON (who I now find out after reading reviews that he IS the manager) so RON tells me, there is no manager or supervisor available, that this is his PERSONAL cell phone, and that calls are forwarded to...again...strange! so he told me to call back in one minute and he WILL have the manager answer the call...hmmm VERY BIZARRE!! so I wait 5 minutes and call...and Victoria answers again, saying that the manager is OUT TO LUNCH! I repeat what RON just told me.
So, I hang up, call AGAIN ...guess what? its RON!! now he is telling me the Manager is NOT AVAILABLE!!! he wants my name and number and a Manager will call me back...YEAH RIGHT!!
I just could not deal with these idiots any longer so I hang up. The trucker, FINALLY left the vanity in my garage (I am moving into this house and the garage is packed so I had to make room, and the garage door just closes. I also had to argue with him to leave it on the pallet so it would not damage being on the floor & I was NOT allowed to inspect the item) this company is a total JOKE! I am not a person to write any negative reviews unless it is SO horrible and that I need to WARN others.
I am contacting the BBB on Listvanites and Road Runner Transportation. Also, I WILL send this review to multiple sites.
I am also writing a review about Road Runner. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO CALL IT THAT!!!

List Vanities probably wrote this review. Perhaps some people have had a good experience with this company, as long as the vanities they ordered were in stock. Otherwise, List Vanities will leave you with a long wait, and no communication as to the status of your order, unless you call them.
