Unprofessional Customer Experience

This location has serious issues with their customer service. They tend to only act professional towards you if you plan to buy something, and strongly go against inquiries on information to understand their products before purchase. I had a bad experience with Nick who claimed to be the site's regional manager. Nick became extremely upset because I DID NOT purchase a DAC from his location, and scolded me over the phone for wasting his time while onsite and purchasing the DAC through Amazon. If I talked to customers in sales the way Nick talked to me, then I would not have a job- nevertheless, a career. We all live in a free economy. Customers have the right to choose where they spend their money and NOT businesses nor Nick. Their job is to entice customers to purchase by developing a customer experience for the customers. My objective was to make a purchase of the Schitt brand from ListenUP in Boulder if they sold it. Then, inform my friends about my experience. Based on my experience with Nick at the Boulder location, my colleagues and I plan to support the other local audio shops, Amazon, and discard ListenUP in Boulder- ENTIRELY. I do not see ListenUP growing if they allow Nick and any other rude-mannered employees to continue scolding customers because they did not make a sale. Fact: Based on the laws of attraction, a negative attitude generates a negative outcome.

User's recommendation: Wak away from rude sales representatives like Nick regardless of their commission. Representatives like Nick earn their commission after earning your business.

Listenup company was obnoxious on the phone upgrading

I called the Listenup TV ad last week and ordered 1 single Listenup unit at 14.95 plus 6.99 shipping. Their automated voice on the phone just kept going on and on and annoyingly offering upgrades such as multiple units at discounted prices. And I kept saying "no" but it appeared there was no way to deny any upgrade or no way to cancel the order. This was early this week in July 08 and lord knows if I'll get what I ordered which was one unit? Anybody else have a problem with Listenup? I get the feeling that this company may not be on the up and up..
