Linux fundamentals study guide scam

This is garbage. Paid over 100 bucks for a *** High School level report on basic commands and two CDs that are home-made and do not work. I ended up calling and got some Indian accented dude that had the command of English equivalent to my pet parakeet. Stay away from this scamming ***! I called him because almost two weeks had past and I did not get my materials. Also, the web site mentioned labs... What labs! You would expect an online lab that helps you bind the materials together and use them properly. There was nothing. Just this *** binder with 1/1000 the amount of information contained in any number of good Linux books available on the commercial market.

Linux Certified are scam artists like Preplogic

I ordered study materials from Linux Certified to study for the Linux+ exam. $298. I thought I was getting full text books and study software. There was a listed guarantee. When it arrived in the mail: The shipping box was a beat up USPS flat rate box with 2 1" cheap binders, each containing what is obviously a 2nd rate PowerPoint presentation (about $12 dollars worth of printing on someone's home computer from the appearance). The software disks were merely burned copies of the printed powerpoint presentations and a 3rd disk that was a cheaped burned dvd with Ubuntu hastily scrawled across the top with a sharpie. When I complained and asked for a refund, I was told that the refund was not possible because I had waited to long to request it (they counted from the postage date on the package).
