STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I wished I'd read the reviews on this company. I wouldn't have travelled 300 miles from my location to the Lindens used car dealership in Brooklyn, NY. I wouldn't have wasted my time and money. Prior to my traveling down, I saw 2 vehicles that I was interested in on their web-site via the Auto trader. I called Linden, a lady answered and furnished me with all the info about the 2 cars. She put me on hold couple of times to confirm certain info from the Boss as she puts it before relaying the info to me. To sum it up. " The price listed on the car is the finance price, and if I want to pay outright that I'll have to add 30% more to the listed price. I agreed and I set out with enough money to buy the cars outright. When I got there, the whole story changed. They said the car that I was interested in has a bad engine. Since when? I asked. Since the car was brought into their lot he'd answered. No one told me this when I called a day before. When I asked about the 2nd car, the new price quoted was $7,000.00 more than the price they've agreed to on the phone. When I questioned the Boss about the info relayed to me on the phone. He said the lady that I spoke to was a Receptionist and not a Sales person that she doesn't know anything about sales. So why are you allowing her to handle Customers' questions regarding purchases? No wonder they told me to just come on down to their lot. It's all "bait and switch" tactics. Nevertheless, I was then offered to look at other vehicles that they have. I simply told them not to worry. I entered my vehicle and drove 300 miles back home. Lesson learnt here. Always check reviews on companies before making deals. Looking around the lot, they do have good looking automobiles. Then I wonder who really buys from this company. The answer is, unsuspected buyers. I will not buy from them now and in the future. And I wouldn't recommend any one to buy from them. You have to be at ALERT and extra careful if you have no option but to buy from them. I'm not really big at writing reviews. But I have to take time out of my busy schedule to write this review in order to prevent others from making the same mistake that I made. So, "STAY AWAY" from Linden used Auto, Brooklyn, NY if you really value your time, energy and money.
