Warning: Do Not hire Lincoln Landscaping

We hired Lincoln Landscaping to re-landscape our property in 2015. That was a huge mistake. The owner was terrible at communicating. I never knew when his crew was going to show up and the owner did not follow any of my requests for what I wanted planted. Although we paid in full, He didn't follow up or return calls after the work was done. He didn't complete all the work that we had agreed the company would do. Literally 1/2 of the plantings died by the end of the 1st season. After much hounding, he agreed to replace the dead plants/shrubs, two years later and he's done nothing. The landscaping lots like total ***, and we will have to pay to do it over. Save yourself expense and hassle --- Do not hire this company!

Lincoln Landscaping Company

After purchasing our dream home, we consulted Lincoln Landscaping Company for our landscaping. We had the owner come out regrading the type of trees we should plant. You would think since he is the owner and has a license that states he is a arborist. WRONG! This *** did not know a single thing about trees. He tried to impress us by telling us about how Larry the Cable Guy uses his landscaping company and ONLY his company. Then he proceeded to tell us where the comedian lives and gave us his real name. My wife asked him if that was professional, he said he was just trying to enforce the fact that if Larry the Cable Guy uses his company, we should too. This company is unprofessional and the owner will screw his own grandmother to make a buck. Run, don't walk away from this company.

Agree completely.

I can validate most of this.

1. I didn't hire Lincoln Landscaping, I WORKED for them.

The owner would boast to all customers about having Larry The Cable Guy as a client, when the only work we ever did for him was putting up Christmas lights in the winter. None of it was landscaping or tree service related.

2. Most of the men I worked with were recently immigrated, and didn't speak much english.

The owner of the company saw these workers as being disposable; he would hire them during booms in business, and fire them during profit dips, with little to no warning.

I paid enough attention to know that the terminations were rarely related to worker preformance, but usually to waning business. I could no longer work for a person who didn't consider/care about the families that his workers were supporting.

I cant speak much for the quality of the work this company currently does,(since most of the laborers I knew have been replaced by now) but if I had a choice between hiring this company and another, I would go elsewhere.
