Lightstar / Alumilights -- breach warranty
Not a single word from this company! Not surprised-- they have had numerous complaints and no resolve for any of them! Time to seek legal advice!
Poor customer service; will not fulfil warranty requirements - states that I need to go back to a previous employee -- who did the install -- to obtain service for repairs.
This company installed LED lights on my house in Nov 2014 - $3K+ -- now refuse to do any repairs -- was told I have a lifetime warranty (sales gimmick) and now they won't even honour their supposed 5-year warranty! Told me to contact the installer -- who was a previous employee/partner -- and because they are pissed at him will not repair any work he did while he was with them.
Now, the customer has to be involved in their business conflicts! When I called them they said they were a new company now - don't do residential -- look at website -- lots of residential pics. Corporate registry search says they are same company as when I had install.
Get no response -- number of complaints on BBB -- with no resolution. They don't care --- interesting too -- most of their residential clients have been seniors!
