I researched this company. After a lot of digging in I found out that the owners of this company are K2 Shops Inc.

They have tried to change several names and they own quiet a few websites. This company shall be brought to justice.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY

I ordered a Porsche Design lighter on May 2, 2012 as a gift to my husband, got a confirmation number over phone but never received any written confirmation nor have i received the item (it's now the end of May); numerous calls and messages via email have been ignored and i have received no response from the company. cannot track my order on their website.

i have reported to my credit card company, the Better Business Bureau in California and to the Office of the Calif. Attorney General and all have begun to investigate this company. how can this sham of a company be allowed to advertise on the internet?

they have quite an elaborate website which is all fluff. i wish i lived close -- i'd drive over to their location and conduct my own dispute settlement!

:( i too was was ripped off.they have other sites under different names that are also a scam. do not buy from them!

Add me to the list. It has been a month since my order and I have not received it.

I've emailed and called the number and nobody answers or responds. They do not have the products they advertise and are just a front to steal people's money. Fraud. Scam.

This website is the definition of those words.

DO NOT MAKE ANY PURCHASES. This guys owns at least 10 other websites as well and I'm sure they are all scams.

Buyer beware of LightersX.com. You are risking losing your money if you place an order with them.

They have numerous complaints with the BBB and I should have looked before I placed an order. What will happen is you will place an order and it will show up as completed. But it won't ship and you cannot get anyone to respond to an e-mail or pick up a phone at the company.

It is either a scam or no one is working behind the scenes anymore. Many horror stories about this retailer can be found online.

UPDATE: It's June 3rd and still not a word from lightersx.com. I contacted my bank last month and they reimbursed me the money spent on this website - which, by the way, is still up and running!!!! How is this possible????

Bunch of LIARS and Crooks!!!! Took my money and did not send anything...AVOID at all cost

I've filed a complaint with the FBI and the BBB and still this guy is still in operation. Not only this website, but David Cortiella is the name associated with this and several other websites all with the same customer service phone number.

They all need to be reported and shut down. This is guy is a fraud.

All i can do is add my experience with this terrible retailer. I placed an order. The money was debited from my bank account. 9 days later, there was still no tracking info on their website. I emailed (twice). I called (three times).

Nobody responded to my communications. No product arrived.

This is my first experience with a ripoff internet retailer. i think i'll stick with Amazon or the other more dependable operators from now on.

Internet Fraud is a FEDERAL crime. Contact the FBI!

The BBB isn't worth ***! File a complaint with the FBI and the Santa Ana DA's Office Consumer Fraud Division!

Agree with you as the same thing has happened with me. This is a FRAUDELANT company. Hope BBB can get some action on both our two cases!!
