I have been a loyal member of JCPenney portraits however since the pandemic photos have to be mailed. When I gave received my orders they have been bent and I have gone through the necessary steps to get them replaced.

This is time consuming and I have to wait longer for my photos. I placed an order with Lifetouch about 2 weeks ago. They were have a 60% site sale. However when I checked out the shipping and processing fee was more than my order but since it was a Christmas gift I ordered it any.

Yesterday I received my photos and they were bent.

I thought with the amount of suing and processing fee I paid they would be in sturdier packaging. There is no way now that I can get these pictures replaced before Christmas.

I didn't get the cap and gown picture and I contacted the photography people and they said it was human error and they didn't upload his picture to the server and we were just *** out of luck if they don't find them. It's been over a week and nothing.

Never arrived by December, over a month later, finally got someone on the phone, she supposedly send out another order on December 21st.. its now January 29th and I still havent received ANYTHING. What a joke. *update: spoke to representative he sent the order out again and stated he will follow up in about a month to make sure I received the order..

Had my family pictures professionally done at JCpenny. Lifetouch printed out my photos and sent them to me. Had the scanner bars at the bottom of the photo and they werent even processed right. Uneven photos for the amount I paid. Im seriously pissed!!

Horrible school photos

The green screen backgrounds and poses for elementary aged students are horrible.

The kids look sloppy. Many of the girls posed oversexualized, chest thrust out, hand on hip knee bent like a college cheerleader.

The product looks cheesy and cheap. Elementary school kids don't need senior picture full body poses etc.

Too much tech applied to something that is supposed to be sweet and realistic moment. Even if awkward, this obsession to perfect flaws with tech touch ups or adds is grossly unethical.

Take a clean photo of the child. Don't make them look *** with touchups or blemish removers etc.

Unnecessarily overcomplicating something that 1000s of photographers before you got right.

Simple, clean, consistent good quality beats *** "new approach". Seems another year I will not buy a photo. Could do better on my own & Im far from pro.

The nostalgia of school photos being teched out of existence by the photo companies themselves. Talk about self saboteurs.

They want a photo to share with public? I can't. They are all little kids.

1 is a 9 year old, well developed for her age, the pose is not appropriate for her build or age.

1 the background jumps out FAKE and you barely notice the child because the backgrounds are so obnoxiously greedy.

1 is a 6 year old whose pose made her hands the focus, hands looked larger than reality.

All of the backgrounds were obnoxiously greedy, stood out way too much.

well I paid for my daughter's pictures. didn't get my all of my order. trying to reach them seems impossible! I did the chat that's far as I've got. I didn't get an order confirmation so no clue what happened there. but they did take the money off card. This was their response. Not their issue. despite ordering off their website. and it said lifetouch as to how it came off my card. Never ordering from them ever again!

I can say with all honesty that my photoshoot experience with Mr. Aitor was one of the best I've ever had with photographers.

Mr. Aitor was incredibly professional, and the pictures he took were absolutely amazing. I loved how my photos turned out and would definitely choose them for another photoshoot.

On another note, it saddens me to see so many hateful reviews. It's disheartening to witness the thoughtlessness of others, observing how people always find a way to blame and approach everything with negativity.

I'm not saying that every picture they take is perfect, but perhaps the conditions weren't right, or maybe they didn't have as much time as needed.

I would also like to mention that I am a senior, and almost all of my friends who have used their services have returned with positive reviews and a smile on their faces. This leads me to wonder if perhaps the age group of the clientele affects the reception.

Terrible experience paid in advance but still have never received my son's pictures. Multiple attempts at getting any information online or on the phone and still nothing. Just take pictures of your child yourself. They probably will come out better and so much less hassle.

They have wrote me a check that was deemed insufficient. They keep saying they will send another but they never do.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. After my 3rd phone call attempt and extensive waiting, a human answered and reordered my order from their end at no extra cost.

I made sure to get the confirmation number via email.

Received my order in a timely manner after that. Good luck to everyone else dealing with this monopolistic company!

After receiving a package with the photos missing, I tried contacting customer service. I was hung up on twice by phone and even their chat service hung up on me! I'm currently on hold with the company for nearly an hour, which gives one a lot of time to submit complaints online which is what I'm doing while I wait.

LT screwed up my order. Sent wrong print of one of the proofs.

They are very overpriced. They have some of the WORST "customer service" of any company I've ever dealt with, and in fact I'm convinced that they don't actually even HAVE customer service!

*I called, waited on hold for 25 minutes and they hung up on me.

*I had them text me some code that would supposedly help me connect with their "chat" system. The link offered NO chat options and I couldn't find ANY chat options through about 6 different searches (both through their website and on Google).

I thought I'd try using their "accessibility" email option because I'm legally blind. The prompts let me fill out my issues, but then they said they were sending me a code, to verify my email.

It said I have 5 minutes before the code would expire... and OF COURSE the code was NOT instantly sent to me... I didn't receive the "code" until AFTER the verification page had expired!

*I tried regular email and it said that if I wasn't some kind of school associate they would discard my message.

*They even have a "Pissed Customer" agreement to read and agree to!!! -This one takes the cake!

Why would a good company need something called a "PISSED CUSTOMER" agreement?!?!

I want a refund OR the correct print that I ordered! How hard should this request be! Answer: LifeTouch hard, I guess.

UGH!!!

Preferred solution: I want the correct picture I ordered (i.e. my kid's class/group picture)! If this cannot be produced for some irresponsible reason, I expect a refund and an apology for the 2 HOURS I've lost trying to resolve this issue today!!!
