Yes, it ended up breaking off. I can't use the water hookup now.
It should not have been that hard to take off. All videos show it already off, and the directions do not mention anything about it!

No one answers calls this is disgraceful for a company to not answer.i wouldnt recommend this company or their products unless they make the effort to return a call back.
I sent an email to this company but Im disgusted that I purchased a portable air conditioner for a senior woman to help her be comfortable in her apartment in senior housing. I bought this last May 2024 used it for 2 months off and on and then put it away for her to take out now and it is blowing hot air. Heres the purchase receipt.
