Avoid like the plague
My wife had just had my child but had suddenly become convinced that I had been unfaithful. She proposed a lie detector test to which I immediately agreed.
As most people, I had been under the false impression that there was such a thing as a lie detector test. So I did not hesitate to agree to take the test as I am 100% innocent of cheating on my wife. My wife is a beautiful woman but two weeks after the birth of our daughter she became obsessed that I had cheated with a family friend who is objectively far less attractive than my wife is. Someone who is physically and mentally, polar opposites to what I have gone for my entire life.
Why would I fail this test? Its a no -brainer.
Boy was I wrong. The test showed that I was lying.
Prior to the test, Jason seemed personable and explained what he repeats over and over again here: Polygraph examination has gained general acceptance in the scientific fields of psychology and psycho-physiology, in those areas devoted to credibility assessment. Research conducted by the relevant scientific community, government organisations and independent universities clearly indicates that a polygraph examination has a very high level of accuracy (on average 94 to 98%) in verifying the truth and detecting deception.
Funnily enough he offers no references to any of those claims.
Needless to say, I had a good reason to investigate further. And unlike Jason, I have references to back it up.
General acceptance in the field of psychology? Google: top psychology organisations. Number 1 is the APA (American Psychological Association).
Most psychologists agree that there is little evidence that polygraph tests can accurately detect lies.
the idea that we can detect a person's veracity by monitoring psychophysiological changes is more myth than reality.
Even the term "lie detector," used to refer to polygraph testing, is a misnomer.
https://www.apa.org/topics/cognitive-neuroscience/polygraph
But I would really love to know where the 94 to 98% accuracy rate comes from. Even the most generous claims from outside those who sell or sponsor the services are of 80 to 90%.
The UK government website makes an interesting point:
People on supervision subject to testing cannot be recalled to custody for failing a polygraph test, however they can be recalled for making disclosures during the test that reveal they have breached other licence conditions or that their risk has escalated to level whereby they can no longer be safely managed in the community.
This means that because the test does not detect deception the police relies on peoples belief that it does in order to trick suspects into a confession.

To conclude: No serious, relevant professional or government body believes the claims Jason has posted so why should you?

I'm disappointed to report a truly unacceptable experience with Lie Detectors, specifically with examiner Jason Hubble. Professionalism was severely lacking throughout the process.
Hubble displayed a flippant attitude towards the serious nature of polygraph testing.
More concerning were the questionable practices I observed, notably, indications of manipulated results.
Despite prior positive reviews, my experience was a far cry from professional and trustworthy. If the integrity of your polygraph results matters to you, I would strongly recommend seeking services elsewhere

Jason Hubble is self appointed as a regulator and hasn’t demonstrated any other qualifications other than a 10 week lie detector course.
Please inform me if Jason Hubble has the qualification to regulate the Lie detector industry.
He appears to attack his competition as a self appointed regulator
.
This industry needs regulating with the recent deaths caused by lie detector tests It also needs more than a 10 week course to qualify as experienced and play with peoples lives.

Jason Hubble Fake Polygraph Examiner
Yet again, we have had to warn potential customers of a fraudulent individual claiming to be a polygraph examiner. Jason Hubble has launched a website https://liedetectors-uk.com/ claiming to be an examiner when he is not a member of any recognized body such as the British and European Polygraph Association or the British Polygraph Association.
Until recently, he was using both Associations logos on his website, legal action forced him to remove them.
A surgical instrument in the hands of an incompetent person with a superficial knowledge of anatomy will cause disaster when operating on someone. So can the polygraph in the hands of an incompetent practitioner. Unfortunately, there are some who had ventured into this field with little knowledge and training. Expect trouble and labour related problems from these quarters.
These people also account for much of the criticism, misrepresentations and derogatory impressions of the critics of the polygraph. Nothing can replace experience, maturity, level of training and expertise of the polygraph examiner, therefore selection of the correct examiner is of utmost importance. It is therefore vital that if you decide to use a polygraph expert that you ensure they are qualified and experienced.
To do this make sure they are a member of either the https://www.britishpolygraphassociation.org/ or http://ukpolygraphassociation.org/ who both publish members on the website. Here you can be assured the examiner is qualified and experienced and is regulated by a trade organization.

Lie Detectors Uk Polygraph Test Review from Dartford, Kent
I got done cargill out privately about 5 years ago. He is a complete fraudster!
Never even got the test equipment out of his car because he apparently wanted to chat with us first. He asked for the money upfront then, he got my hubby to admit under duress. He then stated that because he had admitted something (not exactly the information on had paid for...) he could not longer be put on the polygraph because the test would show up as inconclusive due to his emotions being heightened at this point.
So, I don't even believe he had the equipment in his car at all!! Don't anyone use Don Cargill at any cost!!
Lie Detectors Uk - Polygraph Examiner Review from Lincoln, England
Jason Hubble only qualified as “polygraph examiner “ in August 2014 , and is basically a trainee with no experience at all at conducting polygraph examinations other than the last 3 months.
It takes years of experience to be able to properly conduct ACCURATE polygraph tests. And using
Someone like this it is likely that the test results will not be accurate and mostly inconclusive.
Jason Hubble has decide to portray himself to be someone with a lot of experience and deliberately mislead the public.
He also also managed to bribe Don Cargill the head of the “British And European Polygraph association” in to providing himself with a membership In order to make himself look like a fully fledged and experienced polygraph examiner.
This is not the case as Don Cargill has decided to retire from the business soon and is now in the process of making as much money as possible from the polygraph market before he retires.
ANYONE CAN START THEIR OWN ASSOCIATION IT IS REALLY EASY AND MAKES YOU LOOK CREDIBLE.
DO NOT TAKE A TEST WITH JASON HUBBLE IF YOU WANT A TRULY ACCURATE TEST.
We recommend that you do your research and only use an experienced examiner and pay the right fee ( between £1200.00 -£600.00 depending on the size of the company you use )
WE ARE NOT PUTTING THIS INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET AS A “FALSE POST”
The information we are providing today is fair and accurate , Jason Hubble has newly arrived on the polygraph scene and has decided he is going to charge £450.00 for a “TEST” this is misleading you can not travel the length and breadth of the UK (as all polygraph examiners do ) and charge such a small fee without cutting corners (rushing tests and conducting inaccurate examinations) no “FULLY QUALIFIED’ examiner could realistically make a living and provide a professional service at that rate.
IN SHORT JASON HUBBLE PROVIDES CHEAP POLYGRAPH TESTS (LIE DETECTION TESTS) AND DOES NOT HAVE THE EXPERIENCE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH ACCURATE RESULTS.
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO TAKE THE CHANCE AND HAVE YOUR LIE DETECTION TEST CONDUCTED BY A ROOKIE ?
THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WANTING TESTS ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CRISIS AND ARE LOOKING FOR A REAL AND ACCURATE SERVICE AS SO MUCH DEPENDS ON THE RESULTS OF THOSE TESTS.
DON’T TAKE A CHANCE WITH THIS MAN, AS WE ARE GETTING REPORTS THAT SOME PEOPLE ALREADY HAVE HAD HIS TESTS RESULTS THROWN OUT BY OTHER EXPERTS WHO HAVE INDEPENDENTLY EXAMINED THE RESULTS AND HAVE PROVEN INACCURACIES ON HIS POLYGRAPH TESTS.
SEEK SEVERAL QUOTES SPEAK TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE A PROVEN TRACK RECORD BEFORE BOOKING A TEST AND PAY THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF MONEY OR YOU ARE GOING TO END UP HAVING
A CHEAP TEST WITH THE MISLEADING RESULTS.
YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR IN THIS LIFE.
