Ordered leg bags 3-28 and all Liberty says is it's processing. Had to order from different source. Asked for a refund and they said it would take days for my complaint to make the rounds. Never again. They were quick to take my money.

The company came to pick up my disability scooter. After 6 monts of telling me they couldn't locate it. They delivered back to me a BROKEN one I called the company where I got my disability scooter for repair. They were nice enough to make arrangements to come pick it up from my home. However I could not be there so I asked them to pick it up from my sisters shed (Who lives only around the corner). They had no problem doing this. Fast forward=== Weeks go by and I hear nothing from them. I call a few times, and they have no idea where this thing is. They remember picking it up, they have all the information serial numbers etc. Lots more time and they still can't find it. About 3 monts pass and they finally locate it in their wearhouse somewhere. They now deliver me a scooter that is not mine, is not repaired, and in fact is broken. Short end of a long story is they were supposed to pick up a 2 year old PRIDE scooter to which they had the serial #s and all. When they finally traced the serial numbers from the broken scooter they delivered we found out they picked up my sisters OLD METTIC by mistake. I had no reason to look in her shed, so had no idea they picked up the wrong one. ONLY when they gave me the name that matched the serial number did I put things together. Well after having it in their wearhouse for months they admitted it was their fault, appoligized and promised to send me a brand new scooter. 3 weeks later I hear nothing and call to ask what is going on. NOW I am told they changed their minds. No new scooter, and too bad that they destroyed my sisters that THEY took by mistake. All this time I was renting scooters. NEVER asked them for a refund. I tried to resolve this nicely with them. I offered just fix what you broke. Replace the chair like you promised. Just give me something safe. NOTHING!! The final answer from them wes TOO BAD

12-14-18: mailed Upwalker to Liberty Medic 12-20-18: received e-mail that package was received. 1-14-19: finally got through on the telephone (after leaving 4 messages at Customer Service).

Told representative my problem that my refund has not been returned to me! She “supposedly” is leaving a message for Customer Service to call me tomorrow (1-15-19).

Stop calling me when I have a payment arrangement

I have a payment arrangement with Liberty and never fails, I will get a call from billing asking me to set up payments, yet they are automatically taken out each month at the same time! When I inform each rep of this they tell me it's an automated system and they are "just doing their jobs" I no longer re-order supplies from them, thank heavens. If you have a payment plan set up which you just took out from me then why do you continue to harass me? There needs to something updated in your system to show this or better customer service as well. I have to type in 100 words for a review!!! Are you kidding me, I'm very happy I no longer order from you

Being Billed for WHAT?

We ordered an insulin pump and supplies, were extremely dissatisfied with the billing process and returned everything unopened. We received the latter saying they had received the box. 2 years and several calls later we are still receiving bills monthly.

First time ordering and it's been a disaster!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
So on April 18th I decided to go with Liberty Medical for my 9 yr old sons supplies because I assumed with them being a Diabetic Supply company they would understand the urgency of the supplies. Set everything up, went smooth, he said it will take 7-10 days to process everything and then the orders will be sent, and if they had issue they would call me. I waited the 10 days, nothing was sitting on my door step so I called. They said their was an issue with my insurance, they stated it didn't exist. So i contacted my insurance company, they called to straighten everything out. So the next day I called to check on the order for the test strips, they said they had received no call from my insurance company, at this point i was heated!! I called my insurance company, she started laughing and said no we called an were on hold for nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes, and they said they couldn't do anything because that department had gone home, so my insurance had made a note to call that day. So while I was on the line, it took an entire 5 minutes for my insurance company to get the issue taken care of. Liberty had told her the order would be sent out as soon as possible. So again I waited, called again after a couple of days called to check my sons order, the guy said we can't process the order until we get a prescription from your doctor. WTF!!! I had called the doctors office on the 18th to tell them it was to give my sons scripts to Liberty, she said great they will fill out the orders now and fax them back. Called my sons doctor, she said that they sent over script requests for, Pump supplies, test strips, gauges, bandages, lancets, lancets device, pen needles, cgm strips, and batteries. Again WTF!! I said they are only allowed to order Onmi pod, Dexcom transmitters and Sensors and Freestyle test strips. That was the only 4 things I ordered, so she resubmitted the scripts. Next day I called again, OMFG!! Apparently both insurances are claiming, primary, so I called both insurances and my husbands, which is the secondary had just updated the system to state they are secondary. So they called to inform Liberty, so everything should have been set. What a *** joke that was to myself. This is about 3 weeks into it and I'm calling, every day. So when I call to see if my sons test strips and Dexcom G5 transmitter has been sent out, she tells me their is no order for the transmitter, I had called on the 25th of April when it gave my son the 3 week warning. So she put in the order, I had to repeat myself 4 times, she said the doctor has to send in a prescription. I told her that was sent weeks ago. Two days later call to check on the order, again the transmitter wasn't on the list, so i had them do it again. Called the next day she starts reading off my order for free style test strips and the Anims transmitter. I asked WTF is an Anims? She said it was what the doctor order, I called *** on her and said no he's only every been on DEXCOM G 5!!! She corrected it. Called back again, the lady said that they deemed the prescription for his dexcom invalid because it wasn't signed by his doctor, it was signed by the RN. I said all scripts are signed by the RN, you have no problem with the test strips, being signed by the RN! She said they can't go through with the order it has to be signed by the doctor. So i called the office, the script lady was floored! So his doctor wasn't in, she came into the office, with her kids on her day off to sign my sons script ( love her even more now!) And the script lady has a rep from Liberty that she they have all the paper work their should be nothing holding up the orders. Welp called last night, and the girl said the order was just put in today for his transmitter it will take 7-10 days to process it. WTF!!!!! I said no the order wasn't put in today it was placed almost 3 weeks ago and your office keeps *** it up, and i went on a good 10 minute rant and didn't let the lady speak. She was nervous and stumbling on herself, I asked her to look at my sons records, I said see all the calls I've made, see all of the changes, see all of the call back that your office has made. I want my sons test strips and CGM transmitters by Friday afternoon before I go on my vacation or I'm suing them for endangering my sons life. So today I've been on the phone roughly 8 times scenes 9:30 and it is 1:39 pm and I've got the test strips cleared and packed out ready for shipment, now i'm on the phone with insurance getting them to rush the final approval for the transmitter. But Liberty is just the worst, they have tooo many departments covering patients, it needs to be everything in 1 file and everyone in customer service needs access to the files. You wouldn't believe how many times I've heard I don't have access to that info, or I have to transfer you to the department that takes care of that. Get your *** together Liberty, you would be a great company if you contacted your customers when their is an issue with orders or insurance, don't wait for the customer to contact you. So for anyone going through this if libery says they are waitng on someone contact that someone, have the doctor talk to their liberty rep. and just keep hounding their *** until they get your supplies to you. Ive been fighting for my son, and I wouln't let someone *** me around, like Liberty has been doing to me

Sold me a policy, not what I wanted

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My husband works for Siemens energy, many people with the company were adding family members to their health care plans, so United Health Care buckled down and had all employees show proof of marriage, children, etc. We could not find our marriage license so we called Ellis Co in Waxahatchie Tex to get a copy, lo and behold they are redoing the computers and they're down...really. So I'm dropped, I panic and my husband searches for a short term full coverage plan, explaining what our situation is.. He finds an agent named Jessica, she assures him she can do this for us. She works for Aetna, $20 physician And $40 for specialist, with Dental Vision, AND Prescription. So we sign up. Its been 2 weeks no cards, paper work nothing. I call the "Aetna" help line and its Liberty Medical, WHAT?? This is not what Jessica sold me, very deceiving. When we finally got ahold of her, she hung up on my husband!! Good news is UHC has our marriage license and things will work out, but what a nightmare. They will answer to God!!

DexCom CGM G5 Set and supplies

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I ordered my G5 on April 5, 2017 immediately after Medicare approved it and Liberty was chosen as the sole supplier. After numerous calls in which they promise that since all required documents are in their possession they will immediately release shipment and yet I have not heard a word from them. Each time I call (practically every week) I get some nonsense about pending shipment due to missing documents. I just talked to a Rep who had no clue what she was talking about. At the end of the conversation when I asked for a supervisor, I never got to talk to any but the Rep suddenly told me that she will ask the documents dept to overnight the shipment. Of course I don't believe a word of it. They have the most incompetant workers that they find at Home Depot parking lot as day laborers. I have been getting my pump supplies from them for quite a while. They really are bad. Every quarter I have to spend 15 to 20 minutes to go over the shipment details and yet often items are missing. I am quite relieved that DexCom is looking for a different supplier for CGM. DexCom obviously did not do much research when they chose Liberty. They are also culpable.

Frustrated and Regretting that I purchased Dexcom because of Liberty Medical.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Same situation as many here on this website. I still haven't received Dexcom CGM supplies. The doctor has faxed their forms to them 4 times and they say they still don't have them. I can't count the number of times I've sent them the ABN form. I call or email them to confirm receipt and they say they can't look and they have to get someone from the documents to check for it and would let me know. 24 hours later and I'm still waiting for that return phone call telling me they have received it or not. I had to have a script from the doctor, blood glucose reading for 30 days, ABN, and medical history from the doctor. They didn't tell me i needed all these upfront. I am really wondering if Dexcom CGM is worth going through all this trouble. Where do I go from here? Will Dexcom refund my money if I return the system. Will Liberty or Dexcom supply with a temporary sensor until they get things figured out?

Company full of idiots

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
2 weeks ago, I called to get supplies for my new diagnosis of gestational diabetes. After not hearing anything or receiving anything, I gave them a call today. They said my doctor never sent them a prescription. I called my doctor, they never received anything from liberty. Liberty sent a new request, my doctor filled it out, and I called liberty again. They said they "didn't send anything" to my doctor. I said yes they did, I just got off the phone with them and they sent you a request. She looked again and suddenly saw that my doctor did send it. But that was no longer the problem. She said they couldn't send anything because I had a prescription plan through my insurance and I had to talk to them. So I called my insurance, they said no, a meter and testing supplies are considered medical equipment and not prescriptions. My insurance called Liberty and confirmed that I am covered and I do qualify for free supplies. Got off the phone with insurance, called Liberty for the fourth time that day, and they told me the same *** thing. I couldn't get it because of my prescription plan. I said no, my insurance was just on the phone with them and there should be a note that I am good to go. They could not find the note and said they needed to run my insurance again. I ended up going through a different company and told Liberty to deactivate my account. *** this company, they don't know what they are talking about. So now I've spent even more money out of pocket while waiting for my free supplies which was supposed to be here today AT THE LATEST. And I only have 2 months to go until my due date. Had I looked up this company's reviews, I would not have called them first on the list of providers my insurance gave me.

Liberty Medical is a nightmare

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I purchased a Dexcom G5 myself, was delighted when Medicare decided to cover. Called Liberty, gave them info, returned the ABN form feb 13, 2017. Heard nothing for over a month. Had a serious low blood sugar incident (because w/o CGM can't gauge if I'm going up or down). Called, suddenly needed notes, A 1C, rx from doc....and 30 day 4x daily blood sugars. Fine. Corrected dr name, they said they'd contact. I sent blood sugar record. Doc received nothing in a week. Called again. Didn't have ABN, or log I sent. Faxed both items...Yada Yada yadA. Called again. Needed dr signature on blood sugar log-new info- hadn't answered questionnaire (no one ever asked) didn't get anything from dr....pushed and found they had wrong phone/fax#. Corrected that. Contacted my rep at Dexcom who said he'd intervene. Late this pm got my first ever call from Liberty. Snotty lady said I needed to make appt with doctor because hadn't seen him in a year. Wrong doctor. She Couldn't understand why they were in same office and didn't communicate. Explained in detail how switchboard works in large medical center with multiple depts. pure agony. These people act like they are the parts dept for a jet ski company. No sense of urgency. I'd say arrogant but more likely ignorant with no controls or supervision. Avoid if at all possible. IF I finally get supplies, feels like it will be a painful experience over the long haul. Dexcom service was outstanding. Why they picked this pack of losers as Medicare biller is disappointing and disgusting.

Have repeatedly ordered DexComm transmitter and has not arrived after 3 tries. So frustrating. There is no follow thru. This company should it be in the medical supply business!.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Still waiting for that shipment. Multiple calls and empty promises, but no follow thru after over 3 weeks of trying to get this order shipped. If this is the only supplier for DexComm, I am going with a different CGM manufacturer. Sorry, DexCom, but this is unacceptable. I have tried 3 times to get a transmitter, even paying full price ($700) out of pocket because my insurance expired when I became eligible for Medicare. I need the equipment to ensure a safe vacation overseas. My endocrinologist has ok'd this transaction. So there is no reason for their failure to ship except their ineptitude. This company is a bureaucratic nightmare to deal with.

Us too, I've been fighting for two weeks almost 3 weeks trying to get my 9 yr old sons transmitter, we did the following to get it to go through and approved. First of all I made the rep nervous as ***, because i had all the questions and she had none of the answers also tossed the word sue, if my son ended up in the hospital during the mini vacation we are about to go on.

That helped, but they needed the last time we ordered the transmitter, the doctor had to sign the scrip for the transmitter not the RN, (which i thought was odd bc they didn't have an issue with the RN signing all the other scripts) and I hounded their *** everyday, several times a day.

This momma doesn't back down. Dexcom also has a program were you can rent the transmitter for under $200 and when you return it they give you your money back.
