Like all restaurants, when they first open they do everything to try to win you over; good food, good service, etc. As time goes by, sadly this can all go to the way-side.

This is the case of the Liberty Burger located at Forest Lane in Dallas, Texas. I had called in an order for food to go; they have a separate pick-up counter just for this. We're talking burgers mind you! Arrived 5 minutes before they said the order would be ready only to find out, whoever took the order never placed it and was told I'd have to wait 20 minutes.

No apology offered. In fact, they questioned if I had placed the order! Proved it by showing the time on my phone with their number. Now this part is on me...I didn't go back until almost a year later because I was disgusted but thought I'd try them again (their location is convenient to me) and after all, anyone can have a bad day.

Called in my order, went to pick it up and no kidding, same exact scenario as above. The only difference was a totally new staff. Again, they offered no apology.

Okay, as I said, that one was on me because I was *** enough to go back there! In Dallas, where are soooo many restaurants and who knows just how many burger joints, this one should be passed by.
