I have a 2010 Lexus GX460 with peeling paint due to E-COAT failing,a known problem with Lexus/Toyota Peral White Paint,but Lexus of Towson accused me of having the Hood repainted

Lexus of Towson accused me of having the hood repainted,would not assist with Lexus corp. to have it repaired under warranty.I had the paint inspected through a more reputable(Toyota) dealer that determined that the Factory e-coat was failing causing the peeling,a known problem to Lexus.They did finally say they would repair it at cost but at $800-$1000 that was a lie.

I will not purchase another Lexus and i currently a GX460 & SC430.

If i was not treated so poorly by the service manager,and the the factory rep i would not be as pissed,,they brought a touch up paint guy over with a meter and accused me of having the hood repainted,i don`t take kindly to being called a lair when i assured them it was never repainted,when the professional from a reputable dealer had a paint company come in and inspect the cars paint was with-in factory specs and showed that the e-coat was the problem.

The peeling paint on my 2010 Lexus GX460 is not being addressed by either the manufacture or the dealer.it`s past the 5year warrenty so the 65000 dollar car looks like an old Chevy ,dealer said they would repair it at cost ,they lied they did discount it but surely not cost,i have had the paint tested and the Ecoat has failed to do it`s job the Lexus corporation was informed of this and they don`t care,even though i own another lexus car and a toyota plus being a dedicated customer in the past and currently.You would think that the local dealer would support it`s customer,this dealership refused to do that infact the service manager accussed me of having the hood repainted.i proved him wrong but they did not care
