Lewisville Autoplex Customer Care Review from Mckinney, Texas

We purchased a used Buick for Clint over the weekend. Has a few things that needed to fix. Otherwise the sale went smooth. Was over charged $45 for a dealer inventory tax which you don't and shouldn't have to pay for in your contact so be sure to look it over good. Make sure when the car is sent back for detailing to look at your wheels.... Ours just happen to be be scratched when it returned to the front of the lot for us to take home. We haven't had a problem with getting it fixed just yet, but it's still in the shop there in Lewisville. I will keep you updated with how this goes.... I would recommend them to others looking for a nice used or new vehicle. Fred in the Mitsubishi repair shop was very helpful so far as well.

**Update**

My new to me car has been in the shop for a week. Bought it last Saturday. They sent my car to a different location in Hurst TX. There has been very confusing phone calls made to the service departments. One claims not to know what all is being done to our vehicle.... I have made all the calls to get a heads up on what's going on. No one has made a phone call to let me know how things are going or that they even took my car to a different location. Lack of communication is bothering. The lack of communication between the shops in Hurst and Lewisville concerns me as well. I took the car in for the AC not not working and for a chrome wheel that the Porter or detail crew at the Lewisville location hit a curb and left a deep scratch.

Lewisville Autoplex - Car Review from Lewisville, Texas

I feel lied to and tricked by my sales consultant, Lewis Gines. He is a friend of mine who knew i was looking for a car.

He told me to come in and see him. Little did i know this was part of a trick to where i couldn't return the car. Apparently in texas if you approach the dealer they dont have to take your car back. Even though he brought a previous car to my house first that didn't count and the financing advisor, Ralph, was quick to tell me "you lost your money deal with it".

That is unprofessional and just plain scummy. I will never go there for a car again.

Typical Used Car Dealer

For all of you Lewisville Autoplex customers in Lewisville, Texas who are so pleased with the great deal you got from them...... go back and look at your paperwork and see if you paid for the VIN etching that you didn't ask for and also see if you paid the dealer inventory tax that they are required to pay the county, but they slide the fee in the contract and say you have to pay it.

And I hope you didn't buy the extended warranty that they offer, because you can get it a lot cheaper elsewhere. They also advertise "Satisfaction Guaranteed" on all of their cars and it isn't worth the paper it's written on. They claim 100% commitment to "you" the customer, but when it comes right down to it, they're interested in one thing and that is to make as much money off of "you" the customer. Here's a portion of the Ethics Guide published by the NADA.

I wonder if they have read it. (3). SALES Implicit in these standards is the requirement that NADA members comply fully with all federal, state, and local laws governing their businesses. At this dealership, the sales professionals will at all times...

â– Embrace the spirit and the letter of the law governing the retail sales of new and used vehicles. â– Be honest and truthful when dealing with customers. â– Have a thorough knowledge of the product and be able to apply that knowledge to help satisfy the transportation needs of the customers. â– Provide each customer with a thorough and clear explanation of the steps involved in the purchase or lease of a vehicle and follow those steps diligently.

â– Always treat each customer in a professional manner.

â– Be responsible for the prompt performance of post-sale administrative and delivery procedures. â– Represent the dealership and the automobile industry in a professional manner.

Man...this is a spitting image of the dealings I had with the sister dealership Hurst Autoplex in buying a car......empty promises and greedy hands...just wanting as much money as they could get out of your pockets and push you out the door quickly after they got your money.

Please beware folks...check the paperwork before signing...take your accountant in, whoever, so that you don't get taken to the cleaners while buying a car......

Worst auto buying experience of my life.....took 110 days from the time I bought the auto until they FINALLY got the correct paperwork to me...BUT still cost me an additional $ 387.27 in penalty fees for late registration.....going to fight them now to get my money back.
