Ordered a Levolor Faux wood custom blind because I did not want to get involved with cutting and shortening. I also wanted the cordless with the pushbutton on the bottom to make raising the blind up more easily, which is a feature advertised on the ordering site.

Blind came with no release button. Also, 6" too long and the bottom slat does not close, which allows light to enter into the room. I expected better from a well known blind manufacturer, especially when it is a custom order. Not able to return their sad excuse for a custom blind.

None of these problems were indicated at the time of order. Once again, the consumer is stuck with crap!

First, these cellular shades are cheapest thing Ive ever put in my home in terms of quality. Top down, bottom up look horrible at the top where the flimsy plastic rail is.

Second, the day after we installed the shade one of the 10 long weights attached to the top rail fell down into the cell of shade.

I called Levolor and they told me the store I purchased it from was responsible for the first 90 days.

I called the store who said if they were a custom size, I couldnt return them as they could not be resold. I said they were defective and couldnt be resold anyway. They said I would have to bring them back to the store to determine if I could get a refund.

I live 2 1/2 hours away from the store!

A couple of days later, a second weight detached from the upper rail like the first one had.

The next day the end of the flimsy plastic rail inside the top cell detached from the top of the shade and was just hanging down inside the shade with one of the weights still attached!

I thought Levolor was a reputable company. I will never buy a product from them again.

Blinds did not fit properly. There were gaps between blinds and our larger blind always went up crooked even if you used both hands. Tried to get a refund and and was refused.

Blind repair RO4019****

Hello, I sent my blind in for repair last June. It was repaired and sent back to me just fine. It's worked flawlessly until yesterday. One string on the left side became detached and the unit now sags on that same side. Can I send this back for another repair? Fred Flynn 608-213-****

To let new consumers know that they need to shop further before buying!!!

We spent high dollars on window blinds for a new build. The appearance is ok, but the quality is awful. The representative did not have any samples of valances, pulls, etc. to show me. Just tons of fabric books. She did have pictures but no products. Some of the blinds do not roll smoothly up and down. DO NOT BUY the motorized ones. A year later, we are still reordering two blinds that do not function well. The rep does stand behind the product and is trying to make us happy. Good luck!

Worst Customer Service Ever

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Good luck to you if you ever have to call this company for a quote or to place an order. Representatives are nice but have absolutely no clue what they are doing, and do not communicate with the people who set the prices and place the order. 9 times out of 10 they will provide you with incorrect cost and the customer order representatives will make you restart the long process of placing an order when they realize the representatives providing quotes do not know how to quote correctly. 9 times out of 10 seems like an exaggeration but trust me, it is not.

I received the wrong Levolor shades from Home Depot . Apparently the number on the swatch I had them send was for a different style. How would I know that? I am stuck with $1000.00 worth of shades I dont want. How is it my fault that the salesman didnt advise me I had the wrong number for what I was describing. I am going to small claims court . The one on right is what I wanted.

These are the worst pleated shades. Expensive and cheap. 5 years down the road and I have literally got rid of 8 of them. They either don't go down all the way, don't go up at all. And if I want to have the repaired, the outgoing postage is on me and it is expensive. Stay away from Levolor at all costs.

Cheap plastic breaks

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
After two years of babying this cheap plastic part that connects the wand, it finally snapped under minimal pressure. Since it is a stock item (SnapnGo, vertical blinds), they do not have a replacement part. Now I can't open and closed the blinds and the slats. One little plastic part ruins the whole function. Thanks, Levolor
