Booking issues

I was given a promo code that didn't work, so I phoned. 5-6 phone calls and 3 days later(I had been promised call-backs, but they didn't happen) I finally spoke to someone who could explain what was going on but by then the price had risen by more than £200 (it had risen from the promo price anyway)

After a long flight, my partner has just arrived at your hotel to be told there would be a £40 charge for an early check-in! This is obscene and something we are not used to!

I said it does not stipulate starter and main course so expressed my frustration after waiting for 15 minutes while my room number couldnt be found. Another receptionist tutted at me across the counter in front of guests checking in. He then said that I was rude and should leave. My once a year holiday at your hotel is now ruined and we feel very uncomfortable.
No customer service , no respect for a loyal customer who has stayed here for the last 10 years. I am spending £1000 and just want to go home. Its awful. The staff have given me 2 free drink vouchers.
This is not good enough. You need to move us to another hotel immediately. The man at reception has made us feel so uncomfortable we cant stay. I also booked a superior room .
Its not its on the side of the hotel with no view and smells very musty. We cant get into our room because housekeeping room is opposite and the trolley is blocking the door.

a lot of the issues are that booking.com can't do anything for the customer until they hear from the hotel. the manager seemed to be sick and not at work. they eventually sorted it so i am happy about that.

- - We believed we booked Grand but were told we booked Jury's Inn.
- - We paid £432 to stay and were asked to cancel for £147 and we dispute with our bank.
I have personnely email them along with the email you sented.Ive had no reply from leonardos hotel chain.
Coming from Southampton and having spent our honeymoon at the grand, we hoped this was a simple mistake.
The receptionist at the grand said no I was absolutely sure I booked the grand, I remember the balconies the Marco pierre white restaurant etc when looking on your website.
So we paid £432 to stay at the grand and was astonished when jury's in want us to pay 147 to cancel. I put this in dispute with my bank in the hope that we can get some common sense from customer services.

Birmingham Leonardo braod street royal hotel. .I am making complaints about hostility direct discrimination racial behavior from restaurant staff member called Darren and bad breakfast porridge aslo poor service towards costmers..also the hotel i was staying in exclusive bedroom it had poor hygiene with dirty heavy mouth saliva stains in and on pillows and heavy blood stains patches on beds mattress. .

You were rude not them. I do not know about UK, but in US, they have a right to refuse service to rude childlike adults such as yourself. YOU ruined your holiday with your immature behavior.
Did you contact the manager or anyone directly? This is not the Leonardo Hotel website.
I looked at the rates online. In addition to coming across entitled and arrogant you are getting ripped off if four nights plus two more cost that much.
