Online Contact Lens Scam Company!
- - Lenses arrived late; were clear with a dark limbus ring and changed nothing; advertisement misrepresented color; refunds refused.
I ordered colored contact lenses from lensnature.com (online), specifically for the purpose of changing my eye color from my natural brown to gray/blue. The website advertised their contact lenses with pictures of the lenses on natural blue, green, light brown & dark brown eyes, showing what they would look like on different colored eyes.
When I received the lenses (late, as they shipped slower than promised and I had to email them about it to ask where my order was), I received CLEAR colored lenses with a dark limbus ring only. When putting them on, there was no color change at all. I emailed the company to tell them with photos of the lenses I received & what it looked like on compared to my natural eye & I asked to return them for a refund. I also complained about how they falsely advertised them on their website with pictures that are nothing at all like how they look on.
It was clearly false advertising. The company did not want to refund me, & then offered a $15 refund only after they receive the return. I declined, as I paid $59 for them, & I felt this was very unfair of them because none of it was my fault. I actually only opened up 1 box & 1 lense as well.
After several emails back & forth, they still refused to refund me anything near what I paid, so I decided to report them to as many places as I can. They are clearly a rip off/scam company & mail out products that are not as advertised. Upon researching their company, I found out that they have been ripping many people off, & have a lot of complaint reviews. Some people never get their orders or a reply back.
They also changed their name from Stunning Lens to Lens Nature to fool people as they got too many complaints. There is a site with a lot of complaints here: www.trustpilot.com/review/stunninglens.com
