After several attempts and phone calls Leisure Living mailed me a check for the complete price of the pool cover. I am now completely satisfied with the whole deal and I have no problem in dealing with this company.

The issue is resolved.

They issued me a full refund. Rudy Sems

Need detailed invoice for 7/24/17 : $307.36

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I desperately need a copy of an invoice from a purchase I made on 7/24/17 for $307.36. My computer has been hacked, and someone is duplicating purchases. The purchase made from my account on 7/31/17 for $286.29 was fraud, I did not make that purchase, but the crook didn’t get to my house in time...I got the pile of boxes, and was wondering why there were so many boxes...I soon discovered that a second large order was placed after my initial order on 7/24 for $307.36. I need the detailed invoice to show that the orders were almost exactly the same , and there’s no logical reason why I would place two almost identical orders one week apart when I only have a 10,000 gallon pool. I need that piece of evidence to prove to Paypal that the second charge on 7/31/17 was fraudulent so that I’m not responsible to pay for it. Please help me. If you can email that detailed invoice to: szaubi@***.com

Thanks in advance for your help,

Sharon Zaubi

Non returnable item

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I ordered a winter cover, which was way too big. I only took the cover out of the package to put it on, only to discover that not only did it cover my pool but half of my back yard as well.

When I called leisure living they provide me with a return code. When I called again they told me this item was not returnable because it was opened. How am I suppose to know if it fits, If i don't take it out of the package??? Then I was told only supervisors (Kristiana) handles complaints.

She had the nerve to tell me that she would give me a discount on the next cover. Why the *** would I order a second cover that may not fit, while the one I still have is not returnable. She told me she was sorry but the person I orginally took my order was not a specialist. How is that my problem?

I will never buy anything from this company again. Beware you open the box and it's all yours. And in ALL fairness the return policy does say if you open it its your to keep. But it would have been better if when I spoke to the non-SPECIALIST she could have mentioned it. It would make good practice.

But I guess when they have your money. They could care less.

Leisure Living - Great Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

These folks were great! The warehouse they use to ship liners out of sent us one slightly too big once.

When we told them, THE VERY NEXT DAY ANOTHER one was delivered via Fed-X. (NOT A CHEAP way out for a miner oops?) Then they called and said, we should installed the bigger one under the older one, cutting the excess where needed, layering the right sized one on top, and in effect, creating a dual, double thick liner, sure to keep any roots from seeing day light. nigh 14 years later and our liner is still in great shape!?

The complaints about this company that I read, typically involve silly complaints and user-identifiable screw ups. Besides, when you factor the volume they do, they've got one of the best records out there.

Just placed a order

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I just purchased a pool liner from this company yesterday. The girl on the phone was very nice, when I got off the phone she had already emailed me my order form.

Today I received a email that my liner has shipped and it should arrive by Friday (today is Wed.) All the other online swim companies told me my size liner was back ordered and wouldn't be in for another week then with shipping it would be a couple of weeks. I saw all the bad reviews this company had and I am hoping I won't have a problem.

So far so good. I will update once I receive the liner.

Don't buy your solar cover from Leisure Living Pools

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I ordered a 12 ml clear cover and received what looks like a 5 ml dark blue cover. The customer service credited my account for 35$ - the difference between the 12 ml I ordered and the 5 ml I received but refused to return it or replace with the correct item.

The customer service, when I asked for a manager, then claimed to be the manager and challenged me to report them to the BBB.

They felt their management of my concern was appropriate, I do not.

I asked to mail them a portion of the material so they could see. I sent them photos.

I've bought other solar covers and never had an issue, so I suggest not purchasing from this company.

Leisure Living Above Ground Solar Cover Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Purchased heavy duty solar cover 3 years ago with 7 year prorated guarantee. Well what a piece of junk went to get it replaced and my payment towards a new cover $49 and shipping $50.

So if I waited another year it would be cheaper to just buy the cover direct not use the warranty and get free shipping.

Very misleading. Will not use again.

Pool liner too big / poorly made

Leisure Living - Pool liner too big / poorly made

Yet another thing I failed to mention this was a beaded liner - there was nothing the installer could do to reduce the wrinkles any more than he already had. Leisure Living recommended taking sand out of the bottom - that would not have fixed the issue...the liner was too large in every aspect. I'm sorry but under no circumstance should you have 3 or 4" of extra material when the seam is sitting in the middle of the cove.

Updated by user May 28, 2013

I incorrectly listed the liner size. The pool is a 27' x 52" and the liner which I purchased from Leisure Living / Poolsupplies.com was the same size (27x52).

Original review May 28, 2013
We purchased a used pool and needed a new liner in order to have it installed at our place. I went out of my way to do some research ahead of time. I researched the manufacturer of the pool and even contacted them to ensure this model (Atlantic J5000 aka J5) still had parts available and that it was a true 27'. Just a few days weeks ago I purchased a pool liner from Leisure Living / PoolSupplies.com this was a cobblestone style liner 25mil thick for a 27' x 54" pool

When the installer came out and went to place the liner in he knew immediately there was a problem. It wasn't very warm that day maybe 67F and this liner was just plain TOO big. He double checked the wall ring of the pool to insure it in fact was a true 27' and this liner had wrinkles all over the walls and floor it was terrible. So with a water truck on the way I'm frantically calling Leisure Living to see what the deal was. Long story short they were under the impression I purchased the pool and liner from them however once they learned the pool was used they immediately just pointed the finger at that being the issue. I called the manufacturer of the pool once more to triple check I had the right model and its size was true and they assured it was. So I have the manufacturer and the installer telling me its the liner yet Leisure Living insists its the pool. I ended up eating the cost and living with a horrible looking install thanks to them. I wish I would have taken the time to research Leisure Living as I did everything else in this endeavor. Keep in mind there was nothing installation wise that would have fixed this issue the liner was excessively large in both depth AND diameter. The installer tried to smooth the floor out to make cleaning the pool in the future easier and that resulted in about a 3" flap on the wall - THAT is how out of spec this liner is. Do yourself a favor - spare the headache - this IS one of those scenarios where you get what you pay for. If I would have spend $100 more I wouldn't have had all these issues.

Keep in mind the attached photos are with the liner smoothed as much as possible to reduce floor wrinkles and held in place with a vacuum until the water was delivered.

By the looks of your pictures, you and your "installer" don't know a whole lot about above ground pools and liner installations.

You can see you have WAY TOO MUCH OF "SOMETHING" in the coves. What ever it is, it IS YOUR PROBLEM.

Besides, it's also very interesting (with all the work you put into this) that no where do we see images of a tape measure on the "bare-walls" nor on a relaxed liner outside the pool, or at least unattached from the pool? These things aren't difficult, and since you don't want anyone to see your coves, and you didn't put any proof of any measurements, I'd say it and this complaint surfaced from some "other" issue of your own making.

Paid $150.00 for pool swim chairs refund only 50 percent

Bought 2 pool chairs and paid 75.00 a piece. They were defective.

The PVC they were made of was very weak and just melted in the sun. Could not hold their shape. Went to return and had a hard time getting customer service to call me back. I was very persuasive and kept calling them back.

Finally got customer service manager and she would only give me 50 percent back on 2 chairs!! Now I am stuck with chairs that Poolsupplies don't know where they bought them from.

To beat it all they are still selling the chairs online!!!!! Ughhhh

Pissed Consumer

We purchased 2 solar heaters for our pool. In LESS THAN A YEAR the product had stress fractures all over the pipes and it actually fell apart in our hands.

We called and sent pictures, we were told that it looked like the tubes were cut and they wouldn't do anything. Then a tech with some brains said no, and that we had the products for less than a year, that what the pictures showed and an actual sample we sent them showed a defective product. Well they sent us replacement, but only one solar panel, we purchased 2 of them. They asked me to write a good review for them, can't do it, nor will I ever purchase from them EVER again.

I will NEVR recommend them either. Take it from someone who was SCAMMED by this company DO NOT PURCHASE from this company.

Companies like this need to be put out of business. Thats all I have to say about this company!!!

Defective Product, Leisure Living SunHeater 4 x 20 In-ground Solar Heating System

We purchased a SunHeater 4x20 in-ground Solar heating system from leisure living less than a year ago. The tubing shows crazing and cracks and the material around the tubing has completely disintegrated.

We contacted the company and sent them photographs showing the poor quality of the product they are selling. They are not honoring the warranty. This product is ***!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

ALL bad companies should GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!!

Who else has had bad service from this company? I will be making some phone calls over the next couple of days, join me in getting them investigated!!!

Not only did they sell me a defective liner, they refused to have it installed, even though it cost $350 for installation, (more than the cost of the liner) I waited over a week to get a return call, never got one, and made numerous calls, only to be talked to like I didn't matter and left on hold every time. I have never been allowed to speak to a manager, nor were voicemail messages returned.

They even REFUSED to give me the manufacturers name and number so I could complain to them.

I was talked to very rudely, and offered NO solution. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN AND SUGGEST YOU DO NOT EITHER!!!

They sent out a new liner, but I am still out of the #350 price tag to have new one installed. I will never order from them again. When I called the manufacturer of the liner, they said, and I quote, "Leisure living is a horrible company to deal with" so that says it all.
