Their return policy is only 10 days!!!

I bought a liner, liner pad, clips to hold the liner and wedges for around the inside of my pool. I did not start putting my pool for a month and a half after my supplies arrived. My pool maintenance man informed me I had purchased the overlap liner and I needed the beaded liner. That is when I called customer service and was told I could not return or exchange anything because it was long after the 10 day period I could return it. It did not even matter that nothing was even opened. This was close to $500 of supplies that I am now stuck with!!!

Terrible customer service

These peoples customer service is the worst I have every saw, if you can get ahold of someone they do not have a clue what they are doing and if you ask to speak to there supervisor of course they are unavailable but will put you through to voice mail and will never get a return call. Good luck with using the on line contact, month and a half so far and no contact. This is for a warranty, the 2 times I did get ahold of a person, very early in the morning I received 2 different shipping cost and 2 different proration cost, unreal. Never buy from this company you will regret it.

Don't waste your money

Ordered 3 solar panels total of $750.00 from company. I paid an installer $300 to install of roof. Leaks at the connectors. Wrong parts, none fitting end capps and pin hole leaks in several places in all three panels units. Very poor quality. Numerous calls to customer service (no service) never had a return call once. Very rude and flip responses to my complaint. Ask I send photos. I did the sent two more panels (both leaked the same day they were installed.) The time frame to have Visa involved passed by a few days. So I am out the $750. I spent for very poor quality plastic. Stay clear of this company.

Do NOT do business with Leisure Living! Not honoring warranty!

My name is Julieann Barney and I live in Bradford, VT. Three years ago I purchased a very expensive solar reel for our pool. Well the rod broke and it appears that the inner piece was faulty. As requested by the company I sent them pictures - several times in fact. After they tried to tell me that the solar cover was too heavy - THAT THEY SOLD ME -AT THE SAME TIME we bought the reel, (the sales rep assured me at the time it was not) they then came back and said that the product was not under warranty. Well, it IS! The product is even advertised in their catalog as having a six year warranty! I spoke with two customer services reps and sent several emails. When out of frustration I asked them to tell me what replacement parts I needed to order -because we need the reel to work - living in VT we have a very short season - they wrote back saying that I needed to tell them what parts!!

The absolute worst customer service

I've purchased from poolsupplies.com in the past without any problems but this time I needed to cancel my order. I called before I received notification of shipping and after 20 minutes on hold while they check with the manager I was told they couldn't cancel the order because the items had been shipped. Baseed on the shipping notification emails I received the next morning and the tracking information they weren't shipped until several hours after I called, in fact the shipping labels weren't printed until several hours after I called. Now if I send them back they will charge a restocking fee. They don't care about the customer only their botom line. It's a rip off and I'll never deal with this company again and will make sure everyone I can will know how they do business.

I have just had a similar experience, only mine is with a return. In order to return a very inferior product, I am told I have to pay the shipping BOTH WAYS (their original and my return) to the sum of $230!

I had phoned to verify a few questions I had about the pool and its fittings and was reassured that what I was getting was what I wanted and expected, but what was delivered was very substandard and cheaply made.

I am just sick about this waste---I spent $509 for a useless product. I need to warn as many people as possible about this company.

Leisure Living Poolsupplies.com False advertising

t me tell you what a a horrible experience I had dealing with this company. I purchased a Automatic Cleaner from poolsupplies.com website. I based my purchase off the description and photos provided. The product I received was nothing like what was advertised on the poolsupplies.com website. The product was for a dirt devil pool boy automatic cleaner listed here - http://www.poolsupplies.com/cgi-bin/Commerce.exe?key=111532&preadd=action the images were completely wrong, the product that was advertised on the website had a lcd screen and several controls. The model that I received was basic as IS NOW seen. They quickly fixed thier mistake on the website, however still refuse to refund my entire order total. IT WAS THERE FAULT!!!! I called customer service and spoke to a girl - Kate Bzibziak. after explaining my situation about receiving the wrong product she told me that I would have to pay a restocking fee to return it. now, mind you this was not my mistake it was theirs by advertising a product falsely. Kate stated that the manufacturer changed the product and that was why I received the wrong product. If the manufacturer changed the model then why was this not refelcted on the website?? Doesn't make sense!!! I was then contacted by the Customer service Manager who seams to be the other girls relative(must be a family owned business) named Judy Bzibziak. After speaking to her I called back and I was then transferred to another girl by the name of Christy Schuh, who then had a supposed technician call me back who claims to have tested the cleaner in their pool and says that there is nothing wrong with the cleaner. NO KIDDING!!! I didn't want the cleaner because what was advertised is not what I received. FALSE ADVERTISING PEOPLE!!!!!! Now mind you I was never rude, disrespecful or otherwise mean, however Kate Bzibziak was very inconsiderate and was extremely rude on the phone, then the other lady - Judy Bzibziak was even more rude and started to get ridiculous in her claims that I should read the website terms about the "right for them to substiute any product" This is outrageous!!! So if I buy a $300 cleaner they have the right to substitute it with a lesser value one and I have to live with it, because if I don't like it they will charge me a restocking fee!!! What kind of company is this?!? I would not buy from this website or this company ever again!! I will take my business to other reputable pool supply companies that are honest, respectful and place more emphasis on customer service, as this company simply cares about money nothing more.

We are equally having problems with the customer service from this Pool Supply company. We will definitely look for another company to furnish our pool cover and other products.

I purchased a 14x28 12mil diamond solar pool cover from poolsupplies.com. I bought I in April of 2013.

It said it had a 6 year warranty. It is now May 2014 and all of the diamond air bubbles have fallen off of my pool cover. The pool cover lasted 1 year not the 6years it was warranted for. I called poolsupplies.com and told them the cover only lasted a year and to send me a new one.

They told me it would cost $69.50 for them to send me a new one. I only paid $89.99 the first time.

The pool cover was *** and the warranty was ***. I will never buy anything from this company again.

Leisure Living Pool Supplies are lying money *** Horrible company with no ethics. If you return an item that was delivered as a mistake by them, you will pay the shipping and handling to return the item, they will charge you a 20% restocking fee AND charge you the original shipping and handling fee that was originally FREE due to a promo.

I bought a rip stopper pool cover from Leisure Living. The warranty was against any rips for 5 years.

As soon as it came I knew there would be a problem. It was thin as paper. I put it over my pool and it started ripping within a month. I called Leisure Living and spoke to both Kate and Judy.

They said to send them pics, which I did. Their answer was the warranty was void because I installed it wrong. Huh? How do install a pool cover wrong??It goes over the pool, right?

In any event, I could tell by the conversation that they were frauds and will use any excuse to get out of the warranty. By the way, the cover did not come with any instructions nor explanation on what would void the warranty. I only wish I read this website first.

My advise is to never buy anything from Leisure Living. They are a "Fraud" company and a detriment to consumers.

Leisure Living sent different product

Leisure Living, a pool supply mail order catalog based in Buffalo, NY, advertised one model of pool filter, but sent a different one. It wouldn't have been so bad, but the one they sent did not fit my pool as the one I thought I was buying would have. I told them that was false advertising, they said no it wasn't, but the picture of what I was buying, and what I received was unequivocally different. Then, they charged me 10% of the price to return it. There was just no getting through to them. The refused to do the right thing by me. They did not care at all. A very fraudulent stuck up company.

Leisure Living not that bad

I think it depends on what you buy and who you buy it from. I have read some horror stories and I wanted to set the record straight. I delt with a Nisha and she was so polite and attentive. She was not only able to get me a great price, but she made me feel completly at ease about my purchase. I was a little aprhensive and voiced this stating I had read some horror stories, and she assured me I would get what I purchased. She said she would follow up with the corporate office to make sure the transfer went smoothly (my furniture had to be transfered from another warehouse) and would be avaliable for pick up the following week. She also game me her business card which had her cell phone number on it in case anything went wrong. She called be to assur me that it was ready. All in all my buying experience was a pleseant one, and would recommend her to anyone who is interested in purchasing from this compay. Thanks Nisha, your the best! -Nancy- Canyon Lake
