Very bad auction
this auction we had a very bad experience with it they run good on the Line but the when driven home weather bits trams or motor out the cars THEY SELL FROM BAD AND GOOD DEALERS SO YOU DON,T KNOW WHO TO TRUST AND PUBLIC THIS AUCTION PEOPLE HAS BAD EXPERIENCE HOPEFULLY THEY TRY TO MAKE IT RIGHT AND MAKE CUSTOMERS HAPPY THE OWNERS TRYS TO BE PLEASANT BUT HE IS THE ONE THAT MAKES THE MONEY I WISH THERE WAS MORE HONEST PEOPLE AROUND HOPEFULLY THERE was my first time there l bought a car and then the motor was not good then l had to fix it and then l sold it with a good engine
We're Only Nice While We're Taking Your Money
I'm a car dealer who purchased eight cars and sold five cars at Lehigh Valley Auto Auction. They do not use companies such as Car - Fax or Auto Check .
Many unscrupulous dealers use that loophole as a way of getting rid of their most undesirable cars. One of the vehicles had a repo title . They said they would charge $ 51.00 to flip it to a regular title. I had no problem with that except they didn't do it and explained that because I was an out of state dealer they couldn't .
I contacted the loan company , directly and for $ 85.00 they got me a correct title. Additionally , this vehicle had undisclosed frame damage and was considered a total loss on Car fax . The second car I bought from a dealer I knew . I asked if the car was okay and he said it was.
What he didn't mention was that it had been red flagged in every other auction in Auto Check as structural damage. I'll never buy another car from Keith M Motors . The third car I bought was a late model Mini van from a new car dealer. That car was purchased on an if - bid .
That means the dealer wanted more than my highest bid. I noticed the vehicle was running with a miss-fire . When I was contacted after the sale , they asked me for three hundred more. I told the representative that the engine wasn't running right and the deal was contingent on the engine being good.
He asked if i wanted a Post Sale inspection , and asked if he could do it as a courtesy as I had been pushed on the price on every vehicle I bid on. As luck would have it , it was diagnosed as having a bad coil pack in the # 1 cylinder. I shipped it to the most respected repair shop in Manheim Pa. I received a call that the coil was brand new and the car had an internal engine problem .
I contacted Lehigh Valley Auto Auction and they said they would recheck the van. I had a driver bring the van back that day where it stayed for several weeks only to confirm that it was an internal problem . After studying the Car - fax it became apparent that this vehicle was traded for the very problem I was experiencing . The auction contacted me and said they'd fix it for $800 .00 .
I agreed to the repair and the vehicle was done four weeks later. I received a call that I owed $850.00 . I went on a sale night where everyone was busy. Although I felt the bill was unjust I had every intention of paying it .
I contacted the auction and asked to speak to Jerry , the owner. He never responded but had his workers contact me instead. I finally reached Jerry and explained some of the mishaps I experienced with the auction especially pertaining to the car with the bad engine , including the fact that it was sold as mechanically sound and indeed had a major problem. He got short with me as I was merely explaining I had additional transportation costs and diagnostic expenses to see if he'd work with me at all.
Then he started yelling at me and suggested that I sabotaged the car and messed up the engine. The dealer who dumped the car there with the bad engine should take some of the responsibility along with the auction that misdiagnosed it. The auction made four hundred dollars just in the buy and sell fee . The final result was that he threatened to take me to the magistrate for not paying for the repair and I told him to do to himself what he had done to me with his cars .
The fourth car I bought there needed a lot of work and I broke even with it. Before he hung up on me , he said he really doesn't have to talk to me , that's what his workers are for. I have every receipt and car fax and auto check to verify everything that I stated.
Avoid this auction at all means. They're nice when they're taking your money , but they're double talking and argumentative when you're asking for any type of help.
Lehigh Valley Auto Auction - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix Car Review

Be careful
I'm not a mechanic and I'm not a dealer (I have been told that they all in bed together at these auctions). If you are Joe Public, be VERY careful because by the time you are finished adding up fees, taxes, tags and the money you will definitely spend to make the vehicle road-worthy, you will have incurred retail top dollar...but with NO warranty.
That is the best case scenario. The other scenario is that you just plain and simply lose your shirt.
