RUN!
This is their MO: Cyclic Billing without accomplishing anything.
Step 1: They tell you all the great stuff they are going to do.
Step 2: Make excuses as to why nothing is happening so "something" else must be tried and that will take more time and money.
Step 3: Repeat Step 2 until client runs out of money or catches on to their scam.
I am disabled retired veteran on a budget and they said they would give a military discount, but they in fact did not. I had to change my debit card so they could not take more money, because they kept taking money.
1 1/2 years, $27k, opposing party did not even have a lawyer. Judge dismissed the case because my attorney showed up court completely unprepared twice. To top it off, billing was contacting me for months after I fired them and still billing me.
Consider yourself warned! This organization is corrupt from the floor up.
Lets not forget changing lawyers unannounced and then the new law team billing me to catch up on what the first team did, and that was nothing but they still billed me.
Also stole $1,700 that i had left on file after I fired them.
- Corrupt billing practices

Fagan law Firm stated they were going to refund their client money, but to date, no money has been received, Once received, this matter will have been appropriately and successfully handled. However, nothing can make up for the stress, self-advocacy, time and money wasted.
Her initial team left the firm, and no one told her, but they kept charging her for unrendered services. To date, they have charged her over $4,000 and never delivered anything they were retained to assist with. Now, she is trying to get a refund, and they are resisting at every turn or are unresponsive. They charged nearly $400 after services were officially terminated, along with another $1,000 in an escrow account they refuse to refund despite no services being rendered and the fact that a written request to terminate services was submitted weeks prior to the charges.
Not to mention the specious charges they charged for without any discernible reason, which she is contesting. She is getting the runaround—every time she reaches out, she is given to a different person who makes empty promises or promises a meeting or a callback that never materializes.
She is now at the point where she may have to report the firm to the TX Bar Association, the TX State Attorney General, and hire another attorney to resolve a matter that, if the Law Office of Bryan Fagan was acting in good faith, could be resolved in a matter of minutes. Do not hire this law firm!

During my first call with Bryan Fagan he explained how I would be able to file for guardianship of my adult son (if I was able to locate him in Houston) and that I would be able to have control of his receiving treatment for his mental illness. I then learned from doctors in the Houston area that this was not even remotely true so I then stated to the law office not to proceed with any work on the case. In spite of this they continued to charge me for services and deducted the money that I had given them as a retainer even though it shows in their own billing that I had requested them to do nothing with my case.
At this point they have charged me over $1,000, rendered no services and my son is still missing and possibly dead.
- Misleading and overcharged for services that were never provided
Preferred solution: Price reduction

Do Not Hire
He has now been caught posting fake reviews - a violation of the FTC He also called MasterCard/ Visa and got a new credit card number of ours and began trying to charge it - this is CREDIT CARD THEFT - the card was NEVER provided to him.
Bryan Fagan agreed to take our case for $3500, accepted & processed our $500 and $3000 agreed upon payment.
Then... randomly hit it MULTIPLE times a day, for several weeks - BOA caught the first attempts (ten charge attempts in mere 3500hours, then Bryan Fagan office changes the merchant name they use to charge your acct to get MORE money off your acct - BOA stated this is how they "test" the account)
**See the screenshot where they submitted for another $100 under a different number.
BOA said they have a lot of fraudulent transactions from them.
THE BEST PART --->>> Then they file a motion to WITHDRAW from your case when they are caught and can no longer continue to freely charge your account.
I have heard from >> numerous << other law firms they hear this same experience all too often regarding this specific lawfirm.
Our case was quoted for $3500
All they have done is submit a reply to the court that the attorney Kary Gregg literally COPIED & PASTED my own email into the form and submitted it. Therefore I did the actual work.
When you are already vulnerable - they hurt you worse - for money
RRRRUUUUUNNNNN FROM THEM !!!
I have attached screenshots as well as the vulgar profanity ridden eMail communication we received.
We expect they will respond to this review with an attempt to shame - that is ok -- at least we succeeded in warning others.
See the screenshot where the BBB revoked them.

If the matter could be handled without legal representation, why did you state your friend is going to go to another attorney?
the matter the law office was retained for did not require legal representation. however, their accounting practices are unethical--if they refuse to handle the matter ethically, then other options have to be considered, which, ironically, may require legal representation.
But that’s not what you wrote. You wrote your friend has to hire another attorney to resolve a matter the original firm could have handled in a matter of minutes.
You also state no legal rep is needed. If it wasn’t needed with the first attorney, why is an attorney still needed?
(I get the accounting. That’s a separate issue and that’s not what you wrote the second attorney is for)
Is your partner aware you are blasting her former law firm on a public consumer site? She should have reported them to the State bar instead of you being her mouthpiece.
As a consumer, it is our obligation to share our experience with an unethical and incompetent law firm so that other people in need of legal representation do not have similar experiences.
But you are not the consumer. Your friend is.
You are opening her up to legal issues if she and now you are misrepresenting what happened. Her credit could be ruined for non-payment or even if they rescind the bill she won’t have access to any work product no matter how little/much the firm did. And you have no idea if the defendant was contacted or how much they now know. And your friend won’t be able to know.
Neither will the next attorney. You messed up big time here.
