Warranty

The purchasing experience was decent. Prices and salesman was on par with other dealerships. My problem with this place is the warranties they sell you. I bought a new 2019 Sierra in Oct. on 2019. Along with the truck I purchased a paint/interior protection plan. In 2020 I already had paint peeling, not chipping, off of my bumper. The dealership would not honor the peeling paint repairs and classified it as road debris damage. I have seen road debris chip paint and bumpers but this isnt anything similar to that type of damage. The second, and most recent, incident involves the 60m/60k mile extended bumper to bumper warranty I purchased with the truck. The trucks torque converter came apart the weekend before thanksgiving this year and sent metal into my transmission which is now getting replaced. I thought in purchasing the warranty I added 60k miles of warranty to the vehicle but have now found out that is not the case. I have been informed that the warranty they sell through GM Financial runs concurrent with the vehicles factory warranty. I specifically remember asking the salesman for an information packet before I agreed to the warranty and was told he couldnt find one and showed me the laminated card on his desk which contained very minimal i formation but I trusted him. My mistake. Now that I have an issue, I have reached out to the dealership for a copy of the warranty benefits and contract. It has been 2 days since I asked for the information and I still have no response from them. If you want to buy a vehicle from them I wouldnt turn you away but if you want to buy snake oil you can get it cheaper on Amazon.

So my wife and I bought a used 2017 impala from Laura Buick Gmc in Collinsville and the sales experience fo2r the most part was good couple of complaints 1 bumper was damaged a little and they would not compensate on price. But didn't really bother us because of miles were so low,we purchased a thing called premier finish and was completely miss led we has to schedule for it to be done so we did we were told that it had already been done which since we purchased it it had not been long story short sales guy starts lying through his teeth about it,so sales mngr. Gets involved and starts the salesmen B.S. and just handling me I do my own investigation into the treatment process to find out that what they were telling me was not at all true, also in the meantime my vehicle came without a manual I've called 5 times to ask for it still haven't received it ,huh!!! Back to it so I've asked for my money back on the treatment I paid $900.00 for now I can't get anyone to return my calls or call me so I'm probably getting my finance co involved and a lawyer and I'm doing reviews every chance I get I would not ever recommend them to anyone period.

Dealership lures customers in with a 0 percent APR for 36 months with good credit but even if you have great high credit 800 plus its still denied its false advertising and its called bait n switch totally illegal dealership was not able to tell me why even though finance mgr said that with my credit score I should of qualified but I did not qualify and did not get an answer to why so had to take a way higher interest rate because of the bait n switch they did

Laura GMC experience I am writing this review that is 100% accurate regarding my experience at Laura GMC. I do have all times, documents and supporting evidence to back up everything I am writing. It is not my intention to keep a consumer from buying from the dealership. I am reporting the horrific experience that I have encountered at Laura GMC. It is my intent of this review to provide the facts and inform a potential consumer of Laura GMC to make an informed decision on their own behalf. I will be to the point: 1. I was lied about the mileage before the deposit was given. however, when I filed a complaint, the dealership still lied about it even with the documents. You can clearly see on the attached photos the AMEX transaction of $2000.00 was on the 19th of October. The email the salesman sent me about the mileage was on the 20th of October. I was concerned and even wanted out of the deal. I was told I would loose my deposit if I didn't buy it now because vehicle was being held for me. 2. I learned from the detail employee that a salesman had been driving the truck even after the deposit was made. 3. I was told the truck was in perfect shape (no dings or scratches) before I flew in and concerned if I didn't go I would loose $2000.00. I flew out to St. Louis and the door trim was scratched terribly. I was told that it can be replaced but there is not one in stock. I was told that a new one would be mailed to me because it would be easy to install. Laura GMC went back on their word and threw the card, "WE owe nothing." I was explained that the door trim would be considered warranty and a new vehicle should not have this damage. I was explained that the "WE OWE Nothing" was in regards to accessories and other items purchased to be put on the truck. The "WE OWE Nothing" document states nothing about warranty and damaged goods of delivery of truck. 4. All my information was taken and explained about OFAC (which I was told it would be a soft inquiry). I was told my drivers license and Social Security number is required. Even up to giving my information, it was clearly documented that I did not give consent. I requested that I be able to talk to the assigned finance employee assigned to me (which I waited for 2 hours) before any credit is ran. The dealership states that I gave permission to run my credit with Bank of America with a known credit freeze. That makes no sense and I got an alert on my phone that my credit had been ran 2 times. This was fraud. 5. The finance employee spent more time trying to sell me an extended warranty plan that on all the other paperwork from US Bank that I did authorize. The bank even called me to verify. I requested that the paperwork slow down so I could fully understand and read all documents. He would say, "Sign and date." he was so fast to pull the paperwork from me. He went back to the extended warranty and even told me that I have to worth 1.5 million dollars not to have the extended warranty. I knew this was false. He quickly commented that it is the recommended number for a price of this truck and highly recommends it in case the electronics go out. I declined for the 4th time. 6. I could go on and on ….. but I will add just one more point. The management at the dealership refused to even compromise on all concerned issues I had. They were rude, harsh (even the managements own words on his stance), bullying, unprofessional and no customer service as they advertise. * I am a veteran and I would see in the show room to ask about military and first responders discount. I never got answer as to why they are advertising this and I'm not receiving discount. Further, I was told that the special GMC was running with down payment assistance and no payments until 2019 was a gimmick to get internet sales call. My salesman told me the rate will be high. I asked what the rate would be and asked if the finance manger could explain it better. I never got an answer that was informative. I was told to avoid the sales pitch which is illegal bait and switch.

Laura GMC will do anything to move as many people through the dealership with the least customer service. They will lie and do what ever it takes to make a sell and try to keep a good name for the dealership. Alot of bad reviews and complaints.
