LaserAway - Expensive and I doesn't work

I want to share my experience with Laser Away. I purchased eight sessions of laser hair removal, and the Laser Away team convinced me to buy a package for almost $4k, making me think it was a great deal.

However, the treatment did not work for me, and my hair started growing back after the first session. I had previously had successful laser hair removal treatments elsewhere for only 15% of the price I paid at Laser Away. I regret falling for their sales pitch and wish I had gone to a different place.

I believe their focus is more on advertising than providing quality service. I would advise others to consider other options and not choose Laser Away for laser hair removal treatments.

Sold me about $40,000 in services and then called me a liar saying I didnt have them when I had all of my invoices. Never apologized although i was right.

Wrote on my chart not to treat me (so unethical!), landed me in the hospital for poor treatments, and have been ignoring my emails, calls, voicemails etc. for over 3 weeks. Will not help me in any way shape or form. Say they will call back and never do.

When I call customer service they try to sell me services cant make this up!

DO NOT EVER GO HERE. YOU WIL REGRET IT!

Undelivered services

I had my first appointment last week and they did not deliver what service I signed up for, made me wait 2 hours for it(it was suppose to be a 15min procedure), treated me poorly the whole time, and then when they finally did the wrong procedure on me, they burnt me and I had a horrible reaction afterwards.

Ripoff prices and sloppy service

Started a tattoo removal treatment at LaserAway a few weeks ago. I showed them images of the tattoo I wanted removed during my consultation, and they quoted me about $3000 for 10 sessions.

After Id already begun treatment, they increased price to about $5000, far above what I was willing to pay for the service, because the size of the tattoo was larger than they expected. My view of the quality of their service also soured due to the inconsistent messaging Ive received since starting these sessions regarding the likelihood of the blue ink in my tattoo coming out, which I stated several times was what I wanted removed the most. Since Im no longer wanting to complete my 10 sessions, they want to charge me $3000 for the individual sessions. This is far too high of a price considering all the changes theyve made in price since starting these procedures, the new information on how unlikely it is theyll be able to even lessen the main part of the tattoo I want removed, and how much higher a single session is than other tattoo removal services Ive encountered in Kansas City (specifically Removery, which charges about $500).

The impacted skin is also healing pretty poorly, despite me following the post-treatment care plan.

Further, the company just seems like a bit of a mess. No one can give me a direct answer on the likelihood of the blue ink coming out. The main nurse for this area, who should be the most knowledgeable about tattoo removal, told me with confidence when we were discussing me ending my sessions that no lasers exist that can remove blue ink (this is not true, based on my research).

They always seem to talk in ways that lower the price, so instead of speaking cumulatively (the total that the consumer would be concerned about), they discuss how much parts of the procedure will be. Overall this place just seems sloppy, and that might be intentional so they have room to jack up the price when expectations change, while giving you little room to get out of it.

Purchased upper lip and chin laser hair removal and did not work as expected

I purchased a package for laser hair removal for upper lip and chin and I still am growing back a significant amount of hair in the areas.

At every treatment I expressed my concerns about not seeing much of a difference and I would be told it is a very stubborn area or that it could be hormonal.At the end of my 8sessions I let them know I was not happy with results and they told me I should purchase maintenance,that should be needed much later after treatment.I then purchased three more treatments for maintenance.My last treatment was December 2022 and I am still growing a significant amount of hair in area. I Hope something can be done for me without having to spend any further money.

I have been charged 7x times. I have not attend one service, I furthermore explained to the sales person that I would.

no longer like to further move on to actually accepting your service within the same time frame that she pitched the sales to me. hence, our contract was supposed to be voided as she stated over the phone ..

but instead you guys set me up for automatic payments that I didn't even enlist myself into. a ticket has been put on the uportal and is still left unseen.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have been a customer at Laser Away Frisco for the past 3-4 years. I did laser treatments here for multiple body areas and Reffered many of my friends to come here to get their treatments done.

I had a confusion with the treatment sessions for my full leg hair removal.

They said that the last session on September 15th 2022 was my 6th session.

My notes that I record after my treatments say that it was the 5th one.

I let the front office know and they had the customer service person call me.Brian was very rude and unwilling to listen.

He kept repeating that it was the 6th session based on the timing of the treatment on June 9th 2021.

He kept repeating the same thing over and over again and made me feel like I was lying about the whole thing. There was no effort to make a communication that was respectful or sensible.

He hung up saying that the issue is resolved and that he is the highest level of escalation at laser away.I raised a concern.They pretty much told me to shut up and go away.

Its was a very hurtful experience and to be honest I didnt expect something like this from a big corporate company like laser away.

I have been with them for the last 3 years, They didnt have to make me feel this way.

This letter is my effort to share my frustration and to let you know that I would never refer any of my friends to laser away hereafter.
