Larry H Miller Volkswagen Avondale - Complaint
Original review updated by user Mar 07, 2022
I received a call from Larry H. Miller, they had a VW Passat. They dropped it off at my house. Two hours later (about 50 miles) I heard a strange sound with the front end. I took it back to them. We argued about getting me out of the loan, and they gave me a 2017 Jeep...

Treated unfairly and they are dishonest.

I went to Larry Miller Volkswagen to see if I could trade in my 2017 passat R- Line in for a 2020 R-LINE and I told the sales manager that I only wanted him to submit my credit report to one bank Volkswagen. they never mention to me that they sent my information to 3 banks including the bank I work for. I found out the next day when I checked my credit. I called the sales manager he try to say he didn't know and that they were only trying to get me approved. I inform him that I told them not to do that He called me back asked what can they can do to solve the problem I was upset with them adv him he they remove the inquiry on my credit. Be careful dealing with them that is the second time I was treated unfairly by them. When sold me my passat it was getting late when I took it home and the next morning when I look in the car I notice it had dirty spots all thru the car it was not clean I tried to give the car back I was told I had to keep it and then they cleaned the inside. I know it was stupid of me to go back there but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I will never do business at Larry Miller Volkswagen again in avondale.

User's recommendation: Everyone is not treated the same.

In April of 2016 I purchased a 2016 nissian new vehicle. It was a nightmare with sales, service department, regional manager, service manger, sales manager there was no customer services and I had to get corporate office involved only then did I get a any service.

I finally got my car after a month after I purchased it. I had to take my car into the office off of 104th which was auto nation and now Larry Miller. I told them my car just felt like it was not running right the guy acted like I had no clue what I was talking about. They told me there was nothing wrong with the car.

Later it turned out the fuel injector or pump had went out on my new car and had to be replaced. Well couple months later my new car transmission went out. Then I got a call from service department while my car was with them there was a leak issue that developed and now the transfer case had to be fixed. I got my car back and now there is this awful ringing.

I called back which has taken awhile to get figured out when I can get my car in. My question was if my car had been test drove before I picked it up they would have caught the sound. Well now it will be next week when we can get it in. My husband thinks now it is a break issue.

Here is my problem I thought I had bought a new car? Why has there been an issue with my car from day one! Now there was no issue with my breaks before I took it in and every oil change has stated my breaks were fine and even when I picked my car up the notes state breaks are good. I noticed on the paper work there is a big black marker marking out something that was written on the side of the paperwork therefore I don't know what was noted.

Anyway if there is a break issue it will not BE CHARGED to me as there was not an issue before I took it in and I am not happy that the transfer case became an issue when under the dealership care. I believe my breaks were an issue there while under dealership care and should been resolved prior to handed it over to me. The sound was the that very next morning after I had picked up my car. I have had nothing but issues with my so called new car.

What is your company resolution on this on going car problem that I always having to deal with and take time off work to deal with? No I am going to be without a car at least until they figure out what the issue is now. Yes they have been providing a vehicle after they find out the issue. Though I have to get rides to end from while they take a look at the car each time there is an issue.

I am just overwhelmed with all the issues on a so called new car. Very unhappy and not to mention everyone I know and work with is wow you sure got suckered into a lemon. Extremely disappointed.

I called the corporate office yesterday and left a voicemail with I believe someone named Tina? Still waiting to hear back.
