I purchased a vehicle at LHM Dodge, Tucson in late august 2022. I told the finance manager I didnt want any extra warranties and was not told about all of them.

I finally agreed to purchase the vehicle service contract anyway. There was some excuse that I couldnt get my paper work upon delivery (this was a used auto) that I would get it either by picking it up at a later date or by mail. Well I waited over 4 months (I was out of town most of that time) and finally called and went to LHM yesterday and received the papers. Upon looking over the documents I noticed that the finance manager had added on top of the service contract (1) maintenance agreement, (2) appearance protection, (3) paint less dent repair, (4) key replacement, (5) vehicle theft assistance, (why when I have insurance)?

And drive pur for an additional just under $3,000. I never would have knowingly agreed to any of those. Total for these extras was $5,658 including $2,724 for the service contract. Anyway went there today to cancel ALL of the contracts and was told the appearance protection and the vehicle theft assistance could not be cancelled which amounts to $1,999.

I told the finance manager helping me I wouldnt sign it and I would talk to an attorney. Which I intend to bring suit against LHM. I want my entire transaction rescinded. My trade equity was $8,500 and according to Kelly blue book a vehicle Ive had for less than 6 months the trade in value is only $13,000 and I paid $23,800 for the vehicle I purchased so Im upside down if I traded it in today after service contract refunds Of approximately $3,657, my net balance would be approximately negative $7,000-$8,000.

I called total care auto when I got home and they told me the same thing that those 2 items could not be canceled. Also, my neighbor referred me to LHM which I told the salesman and he said he let the finance know that and that it would be on the paperwork for a $100 referral fee to my neighbor which was never received. This dealership is deceitful and should be avoided. The finance manager Sheikh Hussain should be terminated for his deceitful actions.

I will give a follow up once this is resolved. LHM want to make it right without attorneys?, call me in and play fair and give me an honest up front transaction.
