AVOID LARES CONSULTING AT ALL COSTS!!!
- - Lares took our deposit and ghosted us.
- - They damaged systems and caused two weeks of downtime.
- - We reported this to BBB and authorities.
Avoid this rip off, thieving charlatan company. I own a small insurance business and hired Lares for their business security consulting services.
Not only did they take my money and run they also wreaked havoc on my company's computer systems and put us out of business for over two weeks. After we hired them and gave them a deposit they completely ghosted us. Nothing was done. At all.
I contact them in regards about this and ask for either the work that was promised or our huge deposit back. I don't kniw who exactly I spoke to on the phone but I was laughed at. A week later my company's entire network was inundated with virus and we were forced to shut down. Not only were we ripped off on our deposit by Lares they wrecked our companys systems and we had to hire a computer repair company (more thousands of dollras!) to take care of the damage they did.Between their severe damage, being unable to do business for two weeks AND having to hire a company to clean up thier vindictive mess we are out about 70 grand.
Completely and totally unethical!
We reported this company to the BBB and the authorities. Stay far far away from this "business consulting" company.
