Verified Reviewer |Cockroaches and HORRIBLE customer service
I have never experienced a hotel that cost almost $900 for 4 nights be so Disgusting. 4.5 hours to check in, first room we saw a wall, cabinet doors fell off, so we had to pay to get moved to another room!!!
That room hahahaha tub leaked into hallway, there's *** along the wall floor joint, the rain came in the room soaking the floor by my son's bed, I had to vacuum my own room, we have to have our own trash can and bags, and now we have cockroaches!!! I've NEVER delt with such arrogant disrespectful hotel staff in my life!!! The one even told my 12 year old son son I'm disrespectful! A child, MY child...
You DON'T do that!!!
I am Very allergic to cockroaches, I couldn't figure out why I was itching so bad... Guess I know now!!!

Beware when using Booking.com!
We booked a European vacation. One of the places we selected was The Landmark Apartments / Landmark Hotel (their website is www.landmarkapartments.co.uk but their sign says "Landmark Hotel").
The room was a death trap. There was literally one way out - no fire escape, and the room was on the 3rd floor at the end of a long and narrow maze of hallways.
We cleaned the room, put everything where it went, and they decided to charge us $130.00 (£80) for a tv remote. I personally put it in the place we found it, and why would we take a freakin' tv remote? Not sure if there was confusion between Indian Rupees and British pounds, but $130 for a freakin' remote?
They lure you in with a good price and then they stick it to you as soon as you turn around. Sleep on a bench before you go to this place!
Beware!!!!
I would never use this hotel, and beware! This hotel hires criminals that are a danger!!!!!
My husband has been in a legal battle with this resort and their affiliates for 2 years now. We stayed at the hotel one night visiting with our Godchild. My husband went walking around the hotel checking out the amenities after we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, and tripped over a wire in a hallway. While he was getting up and looking at the scrap on his knee (which he still has a scar from).
He was then confronted by an aggressive woman who tried to grab my husband while yelling at him as though he had done something wrong, and was then joined by another employee who proceeded to join her in the yelling. Never once did either of them apologize for him falling, or offer to get security or a manager involved, they took it upon themselves to "handle" the situation. When they began to threaten him that they were going to assault (and not in that verbiage) him he ran, trying to find our room quickly in a panic, screaming for help. He was chased around the hotel by these staff members who threw him to the ground, ripped the hood clear off his jacket, broke his glasses, and kicked is face in while he screamed for help, slamming his head into the metal door jamb of someone's room.
This action broke his face near his eye in 3 places. Keep in mind, this was not security, these were employees doing late night computer work. He had to have reconstructive surgery done to his face and has permanent nerve damage due to it. He will have pain and numbness in his face for the remainder of his life.
Imagine going to kiss your husband goodnight and having him scream out in pain, or trying to brush your teeth, and having severe pain! It's horrible to see this each day. My husband is a wonderful man, and this should never have happened. I hope this hotel learns from their mistakes, because my husband will pay for it for the rest of his life.
This hotel was aware of the past criminal record of the employee, and still hired him, and kept him employed after the assault. I am absolutely appalled at the total lack of respect, and care this hotel has for the patrons who use their establishment.
So enter at your own risk. I hope you make it out in one piece!

I recommend thinking twice before using Booking.com to rent any apartments, especially in Rome! We booked an apartment with them for Rome all in apartments.
On the contract with Booking.com it states the apartment takes either all the usual credit cards including Euro/Amex and Diners Club. So I gave them my credit card information and thought we were all set.
I then receive a note from the apartment broker who informs me they will only accept cash and/or bank transfer before we receive key. They also wanted all our personal information including passport ID numbers, which makes sense close to the travel date, but I was not giving out ID numbers eight months in advance. When I called Booking.com and told them of the situation they state there was nothing they could do, eventhough it was clearly stated on the Booking.com confirmation they accepted credit cards and if we choose to cancel we would be dinged from Rome All In a one night charge!!!
I have already called AmEx and will dispute any charges they try to impose.
Don't recommend Booking.com they do not support their customers even when the contract is not valid!! :(
