I purchased the home warranty with the purchase of my home. Within four months both my gas water heater and one of my two AC units quit working. Each time I paid $70 for a technician to come out and identify that the water heater needs to be be replaced and the AC unit has a broken low voltage connection between the blower and the compressor. After each report was submitted I get phone calls explaining why they won't cover repairs or replacement...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My husband and I, along with our 6 month old (remember him for why this situation is so bad), bought a house along with this Landmark home warranty. After buying the house the air conditioning went out in the house. I called Landmark Home Warranty (since this is what we paid them for) and had them send someone out to fix the issue. After getting the results from the HVAC company Landmark said it was going to be denied....

Landmark home warranty is the worst warranty you can buy. I have been calling since February 2016 trying to get an AC unit repaired. It is now August 12 2016 still no AC. I will be paying for the repairs myself because at this point I am hot and frustrated. 3 different contractors have been out to my house now Landmarks wants to send a 4th. The 3rd contractor stated the 2nd contractor did a botched repair. This company also sent landmark info...

One of my 3 swimming pool pumps stopped working. Of course they are all outdoors where most pool pumps are installed. After 10 years 1 pump failed. The three pumps sit next to each other in the pool enclosure but are subject to elements like rain. Very little rain as they are in the desert. When the pump failed we called Landmark, who we have been paying for years. The service guy came out, spent 2 minutes (did not test the pump) just...

LandmarkHomeWarrantyCares Hi,
I can see that you are very frustrated with your Landmark claim experience. Unfortunately, there is not enough information on this post for me to find you in our system...

Our Landmark warranty was included as part of our home purchase. No one had lived in the home for four years prior to us buying the home, and the children of the previous owners hadn't lived in it for thirty years. Because they didn't know what was wrong with it they put nothing on the "Disclosure" list at the sale of the home, so they gave us the warranty to help cover any surprises. When I went to put the drain hose from the washing machine in...

It’s 8:45 AM and I just hung up with Landmark in an attempt to cancel service. I am now waiting for a call back from a “customer service supervisor” to facilitate that endeavor...that call ended 20 minutes ago. Their handling of this is quite typical of their “customer service” in general…non-existent. For those familiar with the movie The Rainmaker, a more appropriate name for Landmark would be Great Benefit, for those unfamiliar with the...

On May 31 I opened a ticket with Landmark as my fridge was 63 degrees. It is currently June 18. My fridge is still 63 degrees. Three service visits and $60 later, I am being told to take all my frozen items out of the freezer for 48 hours, so "hopefully" they can figure out the issue this time. When I called Landmark they informed me I needed to do this and keep trying to fix my broken fridge. We are going on one month with no fridge. We have a...

Broken water pipe 6 weeks after moving into home. Landmark sent out a plumber(Nelson plumbing) for my $60 payment a day later. I think it's bad customer service to make you wait until the next day when it involves broken pipes it's not like a dishwasher that you can live without for one day. When plumber looks at it he says it may be from freezing so it is not covered. The house is more than 10 years old and has no history of freezing pipes. ...

I hope you are reading this before you buy and not after like myself. Had I read some of these negative reviews, I probably wouldn’t be in the position of adding to them. Although we like our home (half duplex in Lakeland Ridge) the workmanship is definitely third rate. The only thing worse than the workmanship is their after sales service. The warranty department at Landmark is about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine. We have had...
