- - Claim: electrical system defect drains the battery and prevents starting; alleges Land Rover knew since 2007 and concealed information.
Greetings Landrover, I certify that my claims is legit that my vehicle contained a defect that caused the electrical system to drain the battery making the Land Rover unable to start. Land Rover knew about the battery defect in their vehicles that were on the market between 2007 to the present day.
However, despite this knowledge the faulty battery claims that Land Rover “uniformly concealed material information in its marketing, advertising, and sale of the vehicles, which Land Rover knew to be defective, both at the time of sale and on an ongoing basis.

Electrical systems in British cars is one of those great unexplained mysteries that has plagued them for over half a century. If you plan on owning a new Range Rover MAKE SURE you purchase an extended warranty; if you buy one used, out of warranty, MAKE CERTAIN you get a good, bumper to bumper aftermarket warranty.
Rovers are highly complex, very expensive to service and repair and very problematic. There's a reason why their resale value plummets so rapidly.
