2016 Land Rover - Evoque Car Review

These cars are POS !!! I brought one brand new 6 months ago been in the shop 5 or 6 times already , low coolant light , leaking hoses, bad radiator cap, noises from rear, draft and wind noise in the cabin , I could go on and on, the dealer cannot seem to fix anything and act like its normal for all this to happen. It's a new car !!!!! I drove a Nissan for 8 years only time ever in the shop was for scheduled maintenance! Jaguar Land Rover of Glen Cove is owned by same people as Huntington and south Hampton, complete scammers !! Go to corporate with your complaint. I have a open case right now, car is still in the shop since Monday , wish me luck !

Range Rover Evoque

My Range Rover Evoque (2013) was around 23,000 miles when the engine check up light first came on. It went off by itself for several days, and came back again. But I had hard time turing on the engine when it came back on. I was able to turn on the engine, and my car was running, but I called the service dept. in Glen Cove Land Rover asking advisement, they said it is safe to drive the car. I set up a schedule which I had to wait a week, but the ENGINE TURNED OFF BY ITSELF WHILE I WAS DRIVING! I called the service, and explained the incident, but the adviser assured me that it was safe to drive the car, and wait until my scheduled date to bring the car, and yes she told me to drive my car to the service. On the same day, I almost got killed on my way home because the engine turned off again on the road while the car was running! I was very upset that the advisor assured me that the car or me is not in any danger to drive, called the service again. I had them tow my car in, and they told me the battery failed. No one seemed to understand this brand new car caused that problem was a serious one. No one even felt sorry that had happened while I was driving, and no one seemed care about the problem or cause of the problem since I am alive and not hurt. A problem like this shouldn't have been occur in two years of driving, especially the car whichI paid for a very expensive price!
