I was driving on the fwy in the no.1 lane going about 75 when the car (Range Rover Evoque 2017) completely lost power. Luckily, I was able to use what was left of the car’s momentum to get me to the shoulder of the fwy. Mind you, I could hear the vehicles behind me slamming on their brakes. All I could do is pray that I wouldn’t get taken out by another car. It took their roadside assistance approx 3 hours to get to me which is unacceptable given where I was. Then I get to the dealership (Encino, CA) their associate completely ignores us and treats us like we were there because our radio wouldn’t turn on. On top of that they didn’t even have a loaner for me. You would think for car company that prides itself on being the Bloomingdales of cars especially for how much we pay for them they would have better customer service. I filed a complaint with corporate about them taking the car back. In the meantime though the dealership representative called us and told us the computer showed that in fact the car did shut off. Then he goes on to threaten us that if we don’t turn in the loaner that they finally found for us within 24 hours we will be charged. He knows what we do for a living and is fully aware we cannot turn it in I’m 24 hours. Again 0 customer service. After this whole experience I will NEVER buy a Range Rover again. I also plan on sharing my story (news, websites etc) in order to avoid this type of incident from occurring to someone else. I was lucky I was not killed but someone else may not be so lucky. Speaking of which the representative had the nerve to tell me “well this only happened to you once.” What is wrong with these people!?! They also think by driving the car around for 200 miles and not shutting off on them the car is fine. Hey genius! I drove it for 20k miles before it *** off on me.

I found similar problem about gearbox and software. Cant believe it happens to a luxury Range Rover. Did they make compensation at the end?
