Repair ripoff
- - We took a 2003 F-150 in for head gasket job; issues began after pickup.
- - Serpentine belt installed wrong; misfire diagnosed; extra repairs offered.
Approx 2 weeks ago, we took our 2003 Ford F150 in to Lance Cunningham Ford for head gasket replacement. About 4 days later we went to pick it up.
Didnt make it home because truck not running right. Left it and next day they said it needed an alternator. Serpentine belt was put on wrong by mechanic. Pick it up and on way home breaks down again.
Take it back and next day they say it has a misfire and needs additional repairs but they will comp them. Pick it up the following day and its almost out of gas and 387 additional miles on odometer. They tell me its cause they had it idling for 3 hours to check repairs....must think I'm stupid...I tell them idling doesnt move the odometer....they say they test drove it....to where??? halfway to Florida???
I resent that they think I'm stupid or something. I resent that I had to pay for additional repairs caused by their negligence or ignorance.
