Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Big order, big problems.
- - Six Easton FMJ 300 arrows arrived; five had warped fletching.
- - Broadhead threads were deep; blades wiggle when tightened.
- - Case was used to ship arrows.
waiting for a response from customer service, but this was handled so poorly I'm returning the entire order. even he things that were ok.
And one of those, when they were cutting to length, missed and then cut it to the right length just above the gash they cut in the metal down to the carbon layer. I had to keep inspecting, so I got a field point and a broadhead to screw on. Well, the threads are so deep, I'd say 1/2 an inch, that on some, I could only get 2 or 3 threads to attach. And on 2, it was deep enough to not reach at all.
I mean, the fletching looked like the arrows had been stored under a mattress. Along with this order, I got a 33' Easton arrow case. Well, they unpackaged that and used it to ship these arrows. And yes, I checked the case; it comes packaged.
Then I opened the Hornet broadheads. They were tightened down like a vice, yet the blades wiggled on them. Looked it up. No, broadheads aren't supposed to wiggle.
I was looking for something on fixing the arrows, but as this was a large order and the craftsmanship on my arrow sizing and the condition of the arrows was damaged goods, I feel like they sold me their trash. So at this point, I have packed the entire order back in its box and will return it in its entirety. Surely they could have taken a look at what they were trying to send me and sent a message that what I ordered looked really bad; please pick something else.
But no, they just sent it out. This will be my last order with Lancaster.
- If its in stock and they dont have to assemble it youre ok
- Custom services are sub par
- Wasting my time having to sent it back
- Willingness to ship damaged goods
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: if they have something in stock that they have no hand in making or doing work on, fine. but if they assemble anything go somewhere else.
