2013 GMC Acadia burt out head light repair

Last Friday, my husband took our 2013 GMC Acadia to the La Fontaine dealership in Highland, MI for repair of a burnt out light bulb in the head lamp. He decided not to do the repair himself, because you have to take the wheel off the vehicle to access the head lamp.

A poor GM design. In the old days, you just unscrewed the head lamp from the outside of the vehicle. When the job was finished, we had to pay $500.81(before coupon) for the bulb replacement. We were shocked!

This is not excessive, it is outrageous. They charged $270.93 for the light bulb part alone. I looked on the internet and the cheapest price for the same part was at Walmart for $129.47. It was less than half the price La Fontaine charged.

And to think, Walmart is still making a profit on the same part. The cost of a simple light bulb replacement is more than a car payment! I could have purchased a set of tires and had them installed on the car for the same price. I feel like we were robbed.

I have complained to GM. They said they understood, but there was nothing they can do. La Fontaine just gave me a $6.25 discount on labor. I guess that should satisfy me.

I just want people to know that La Fontaine does rip off their customers and people should look elsewhere for repairs. Sincerely, Sue Worosz 734.564.4911/sworosz@***.com

Customer see where when LaFontaine commercial comes on everybody rides at LaFontaine and that is a family company. And that they care alright not.

More than one or two points under ussery! Haha it's really not funny. So very high-cost loan I'm on a fixed income the rates were higher and higher I ended up returning the car they charge me repossession fees which it wasn't which was more and more I'm going to have to go and file bankruptcy over it because of all their fees that they put on it. To clear my record because of all the bad loan the bad fish that was not really just close to me it was under the covers.

So if anyone listens to that commercial please do not take a listen to it don't take their advice they're real friendly they come and pick you up at the door if they do all the work for you and get everything arranged all you do is go there and sign the papers and drive away it sounds really good they make it very easy but in reality when the years go by he keep on making the astronomical payments for a Kia Soul I was making a $399 payment for a 2010 as anyone knows you can go get a brand new Kia Soul for under $200 a month.

If I had done the calculations of bright I would have said no but with my Ms and fast-talking and with computers nowadays and the virtuality tour on the computer about them car and the Kia The Hook Line & Sinker Sono I'm going to file bankruptcy I'll take the bitter taste in my mouth at my age I've never had to do something like this in my life but it's the only way I can do it and save my health because of all the stress and everything I've had the shingles not once but three times Global Financial institution they won't get off my tail their computer calls and calls and calls and calls for people are worse than imagined horse that threatens and you can't get blood from a turnip specially when you're on a fixed income so therefore please people listen to me when they say on the commercial that they are caring family but everybody rides at LaFontaine you right all right you're right all the way to the Poorhouse to The Courts filing bankruptcy don't listen to him turn the commercial turn the channel don't listen turn the TV off LaFontaine yes save their family business they put their children out there they put their faces out there to only build more money for themselves and to take the little people that's on fixed incomes and don't make that much money just wrap them over for 5 to 7 years and take their hard-earned money away from them don't listen to them warning warning warning don't take and sign your papers you'll regret it for the rest of your life or at least as long as you own the vehicle or they repossess it and then it's all your hard earned money down the drain your heart broken you're devastated and you're broke again. My name is Virginia broke and devastated
