Lady of America GYM closed and still being charged |The gym Was on old cutler road Miami Florida 33189 closed almost 6 years, and I am still charged every month to this date. When I noticed this racket it was past the 15 days free cancellation policy, this is worst pact ever, like if it's with the devil himself. This people are thieves! They will pick pocket you, stay away of LOA and HCOA ( same people different costume) !!

I have been attending this gym for over a year now and cannot fathom the fact that this place is even running still. Staff is ok but not consistent. It's always someone new "auditioning" for a permanent trainer roll, but they never seem to stay with the company. Classes are cancelled an incredible amount of time each week, INCLUDING CLASSES PEOPLE PAY EXTRA FOR !!!!! Funny thing is, when clients cancel one of those classes (that they pay extra for) they are charged an $8 fee each time they miss the class but we still have to pay extra each month even when the class is cancelled on us more than twice a week. THEY SHOULD REIUMBURSE THAT $$ SINCE THEY ARE THE ONES CANCELLING. Next, equipment...what the actual heck! This is 2019 not 1742. The rugs are fuming with smells of mildew, the machines are so outdated that it is not even safe for people to go on them which is why the classes are extremely packed and half the time there is no room to take the group classes. Daycare is a joke, people pay $3 per child basically to have their children trapped in a tiny hot room while parents are working out. DID I MENTION THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING?! I don't even need to work out because I burn off all the calories profusely sweating just by sitting in a 100 degree gym for an hour. Lastly, we have been promised SINCE I JOINED that the new gym would be opening in August 2018. We were also promised that we would be "grandfathered" in and would NOT have to pay an entrance fee to the new gym and we would pay the same amount we'd been paying. When the time came around to sign the contract for the new gym, I met with the owner and every time I brought to her attention any of my concerns, she would ignore it and start talking about the amenities at the new gym...then she started crying! I AM A PSYCHOLOGIST, THIS IS A TACTIC OF MANIPULATION/DISTRACTION. After the fake tears went away she asked for my credit card info to sign the new contract! In the end I was so distracted by all the positive amenities at the new gym, that I forgot why I met with her in the first place and ended up singing a 3 year contract. It is now January 2019 and THE NEW GYM IS STILL NOT OPEN.....PLEASE LET THE SUFFERING STOP, ACCOMODATE YOUR CLIENTS AND LEARN HOW TO RUN A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS I BEG OF YOU!!!!! Other than that, I love it because it is an all women's gym. Thank you.

This place is terrible!!! They are frauds and I would be very careful with signing anything they offer. I went in to try out the facility and the woman behind the desk told me they were running a special that was for one month. I was going out of the country in one week and she told me it was cheaper to do the one month special then to come in for 5 days worth of classes, I trusted her. She then preceded to sign me up for a monthly reoccurring charge that lasted 7 months. The only reason that I found out about the transaction was because my credit card number had changed and they contacted me for a new one. Now, shame on me for not catching the reoccurring charge, but I have many monthly services and missed it. When I contacted the company the owner refused to contact me directly and I had to do an exchange in return for half of my money back and half membership usage of the new gym. I would have preferred a full refund. The facility is a dump to say the least. It's a disgusting excuse for a gym and I'm sorry I ever gave them a try. I would give them no stars if that were an option.

Hi: I was a client of yours, I ended the contract paying the balance they told me at that moment (10 years ago) Yesterday I received a call that I have a balance due of more that $1000 dollars, because I was supposed to send a letter of cancellation and never did. (Never told me that at when I paid) Apparently you kept the contract and never called or ask for payment until know. I went to the gym in white plains to cancel my membership and they told me it was canceled. After a year just 2 months ago I found out they have been charging my account. I discovered they never canceled. I went in person to ask and try to solve this problem and I was treated really bad and was even told to leave. The women said she was in charged and said so many inappropriate things. I want my money back because I canceled in person and yet they still charged me. I will t and this matter to court if not solved asap.

Hoy recibi llamada de Puerto Rico (787-462-****) indicando que estoy demanda por $10,000 por inclumplimiento de contrato con Nu Lady of America . Les dije que jamás he incumplido contrato y me estoy preparando para demanda. Nos cerraron en el 2010 y en el 2012 nos sacaron dinero de nuestra cuenta bancaria. Reclamé y me llamaron del 1-80*-697-**** en el 2012 donde revisé por internet que llovían las querellas. Me escribieron cobrando y les escribí en el 2012 diciendo que no debía. Cuatro años después (2016) me quieren demandar. Quiero que se entere el mundo que Nu Lady of America nos quiere sacar dinero a los que en una ocasion nos cerraron sin notificación previa.

I sing in at this gym thinking that was good,based in the lies that they tell you to sing in , the corporate guy named Christopher only talk Lies to costumer to tray to sell personal training and them he asign you with someone else he fire the good trainers becouse affect the corp to sell more personal trainers the equipment are old and grouse I don't understand why they still open and is really spensive the trainers can help you there becouse they get in trouble the girls at the counter are really nice but obviously who is in charge at this place have no clue how run a business I fell sorry for the owners they don't now how hired competent people to work there. This place is horrible never sing in here the other two locations are close becouse management is horrible and incompetent.

Biggest fraud in the world!!! My 18 month contract was up with these people on April 2016 and today, September 2016, they continue to charge me monthly. I have called and spoken to a ton of different people every month and they continue to do it. They are now trying to put me in collections. Ridiculous!
