Lady Liberty Moving

We hired Lady Liberty movers of 3325 Hollywood Blvd STE 505, Hollywood Florida,(from here will be referred to as LL), to move my daughter from Co to Fl. They immediately brokered the move out to Tacoma Movers of 223** **th Ave South, Kent WA 98032 phone 786-445-****.

DOT 387****. tacomamoverswa@***.com. The contract was not fulfilled. The move was to be July 5, 2022.

Tacoma didn't show up until days later. It was contracted with LL to be a full pack move. Tacoma showed up & argued with my daughter that it wasn't. They had no packing materials & it required my daughter getting LL on the phone to clarify that it was a full pack.

Tacoma left & came back late the next day & pressured my daughter to sign another contract with them for thousands more than what was agreed upon with LL. She was told that if she did not sign it immediately, that they would leave. She ultimately left her sofa and side chair behind in the move to decrease the added costs that Tacoma was demanding. It was still over $1,000 more than what LL had promised.

An employee loaded the abandoned furniture into his personal vehicle, obviously taking it to his benefit. One employee warned her that her belongings would probably be stolen. Tacoma would not answer phone messages left by my daughter as to the expected time frame of delivery. She had been told by LL that it would be 7 to 10 business days.

It was contracted with LL to be delivered by law within 21 business days. However, after many calls unanswered, not returned, messages left and blocked calls by Tacoma, it was over 30 business days before it was finally delivered with only about 12 hours notice by yet another brokered moving company that refused to place her belongings any further into the residence than the garage. They also refused to assemble the furniture as contracted that they disassembled and left. They broke a dresser, lost parts to her furniture rendering it useless, & lost other belongings.

But the worst was that 2 guitars with cases and an expensive set of power tools were stolen. Yes I said stolen. No compensation has been offered.

And my daughter was yelled at & threatened and the contract was not fulfilled. If you hire this mover you may as well say goodbye to your belongings and sanity.
