The behavior of the owner and his employee
- Labounty Pools crew arrived after hours and blocked entry.
- The driver refused to move the truck for a resident, and the conduct was unacceptable.
I work security ( front gates) of two high rise Condominiums on the beach in Southeast Florida.
The owner of Labounty Pools Inc. and his employee arrive after hours for contractors to be let on our property.
I explain this to him and I make a call to my supervisor to double check.
I am correct about it being after hours and I let him know he would have to return another day at an earlier time.
Thats when he snaps. He gets out of his vehicle yelling and cussing and storms up to the condominium , as I am telling him he is not supposed to go past the gates, which I am in charge of. He had complete disregard for the rules of the condo association as well as my security position.
So , now, I have his company truck, with his employee in the driver seat, blocking the entrance to the condominiums.
At this time one of the residents arrives to get to his home. I ask the employee to move his vehicle to let the resident in, and he responds with , No.
now I tell him to move the vehicle to let the homeowner in and again he responded with NO.
I would like to add that this employee had a sarcastic smile on his face as he told me no.
I ultimately had to let the truck in so that the resident could get to his home.
The issue was ultimately resolved, but the behavior of the owner of Labounty Pools Inc. and the complete disregard for the rules and regulations of the two condominiums was unconscionable and unacceptable.
It makes me wonder what their behavior would be like should a serious issue arise.
I certainly would not want my wife or children to be around when these individuals did not get their way. I think I would be scared for their safety.
