Verified ReviewerI sent my furniture from Puerto Rico to st petersburg fl, I had to put my furniture in storage for 2 weeks
When I was able to take it home and open the boxes, part of my very expensive bedroom set were broken. The same day I contacted Ivette in Orlando to report.
The reply was " that I reported after the 3 days time limit and refused to pay for the broken furniture, although, I had paid insurance. Word of mouth is the best or worst publicity.very irresponsible, will not recommend, ever.
Preferred solution: Payment for broken furniture

La Rosa del Monte (LRDM) scam: Deceiptful business practices
I contracted with LRDM to move internationally, and they promised "white glove service." What I got was anything but. LRDM was unable to provide a contract with a breakdown for the final figure (magically pulled out of a hat?), subcontracted the domestic part of the contract to a U.S.
company that, against contract, failed to provide crates, loaded flammable/explosives materials in a container that shipped outside the U.S., and was unable to account for the dangerous and forbidden goods. Then LRDM provided a grossly incorrect and woefully "translated from Portuguese" (the original was in English) itemized list of the contents, failed to notify their other contractor outside the U.S. they were involved in this matter, and didn't know the whereabouts of the container that showed up three weeks late at destination. Their contractor at destination failed to execute successfully essential paperwork with Police, failed to assemble all goods (contrary to what was prescribed by contract), never showed up to verify claims for damaged goods mispackaged by the U.S.
subcontractor (contrary to what was prescribed by contract), attempted to charge above and beyond what had been already paid through LRDM, and failed to answer written requests to perform according to the contract. The alleged President of LRDM, a "Mr." Hiram Rodríguez, never answered phone calls, e-mails or certified mail to this date, over three months after packing and shipping. Taken together, this is a dismal performance that speaks out clearly as to what "white glove service" means to LRDM.
So customers (a.k.a. victims) beware!

I work in the international moving industry and i had to stop and let everyone know that this complaint is 100% false.
Household goods cannot be shipped with "flammable / explosives". This would clearly put all companies involved at risk of being closed down due to negligence after customs inspects the container via x-ray.
Competitor? Sound like it!
