La fiesta has a basket full of expired items all the time from over a year ago at times. They have mold around the frigid and their meat smell and look bad at Times.

LaFiesta Bait and Switch Yesterday

AI Highlights
  • - Tyson chicken advertised at $0.77/lb beside Pilgrim.
  • - Pilgrim allegedly uses natural broth and unpronounceable chemical.

LaFiesta Supermarket, Marbach Rd, San Antonio. Sign in bin full of Pilgrim brand whole chickens, and one Tyson whole chicken.

Sign advertises Tyson whole chicken at $.77 a pound. I made them take it down by calling the meat worker out and asking for more to be put out. He tried to tell me the Pilgrim brand was the same thing. I pointed out that the Pilgrim chicken is adulterated with what they call natural chicken broth, which is nothing but chicken flavored water and anything else they want to put in there, as there is no regulated definition of natural.

Also an unpronounceable chemical in unknown quantity.

He said they had no more to put out. Tyson should be suing the chain.

Pros:
  • Occasional value for money
Cons:
  • Store or perhaps corporate fraudulent marketing
Reason of review:
Not as described/ advertised

Preferred solution: Cease and decist throughout the corporation
