Fuel Octane Requirement For Kymco Spade

Yes, I have a question in regard to the fuel grade requirement for the Kymco Spade. I have owned my Spade for a little over a year and I am quite pleased with it.

But, I cannot find an answer as to what grade of gasoline to use in it. The Kymco Dealership that I bought my Spade from really does not have a clue. They just told me to use regular unleaded. As to my understanding, high compression engines do not run well with regular unleaded.

I don't even know if my Spade has a high compression engine. The owners manual gives the fuel requirement in Euro / Asia standard. That absolutely does not mean a thing to me. Even the tire pressure requirements are not indicated in psi, which we use in the U.S.A.

Clearly, a manual that is indicative for the U.S. market is needed. Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha. have manuals that have the U.S.

consumer in mind.

Kymco does not. Please, respond to my request, I would really appreciate it.

God Bless!!!

FERNANDO

Warranty issues with New x-Town

KYMCO USA - Warranty issues with New x-Town

I have purchased a 2021 Kempco X town. I have purchased it in Miami Beach Florida.

I have had nothing but issues with this Scooter. He failed to start several times. I need to bring it in to get the wire harness reattached to the battery. They did not another warranty they charged me $50.00 Now the scooter did not start there was a problem with the ignition.

I brought it back to Miami Beach scooter to replace the ignition. They say I damage the ignition. Which is untrue the scooter would not start at 2 oclock in the morning. This company does not honor the warranty and does not stand behind the product.

I am very unsatisfied. I have called him several times to register a complaint no one has ever called me back.

Waiting 4 months now for my dealer to get parts

I've been waiting for 4 months to get my Kymco A550 to be repaired. My reputable dealer has not been able to get the parts they need to fix my bike.

If I had known it would be like this..I would have made a different purchase. I thought Kymco was top notch, but here I am missing the whole riding season because they could not ship my parts in a timely manner. Trading in my bike as soon as I get it back.

Not worth the trouble!!! Stay away!
