Is there anything that can be done now that most of the paperwork that KRW sent to us has been signed?

Original review Mar 04, 2024

My fiancé, Herman, along with his son, Richard, went to see these lawyers because of an advertisement they saw on TV. Herman is a Vietnam Veteran and has a lot of health issues.

He has a very difficult time breathing and is in the early stages of dementia. He was sent to their doctor and was then told he tested positive for asbestos in his lungs. Since then the company has sent him paperwork to sign for each company that is represented in the Asbestos Trust. Each time he has received a very small payment.

In fact, I'm sitting here looking at the latest paperwork they've sent to him waiting to be signed.

So far, he has received a little over $2,000. This amount in no way covers his doctor bills and the daily suffering he endures.ealt w Each paper he signs releases the various companies associated with the Asbestos Trust from any future responsibilities and lawsuits. When I call the number for these lawyers I get what sounds like an answering service with a promise someone will call me back. No one has ever returned any of my calls.

I am at a loss as to what he should do now.

Is there anything that can be done? Should he stop signing and returning everything these lawyers send to him? I have never dealt with a lawyer that takes his payment out of every check. Nor do we ever see any of the checks or copies of them.

The checks are sent to the lawyers and the lawyers write a company check to pay Herman.

If anyone has any knowledge of what should or can be done, I'd greatly appreciate hearing it.

I was not given an correct option for the location where this happened. The correct location is Houston, Texas

Asbestos Claim

KRW is keeping 80% of lawsuit claims from the Asbestos Trust Fund. This should be illegal and they should be held accountable for their actions. There should be a class action lawsuit against them!

I signed a lot of paperwork for thousands of dollars. So far, I have gotten 5 checks for 7.5% of the total paid by each company. How is that even legal?

Always claiming they have sent me documents to be signed. I have contacted them four times in the.

This began June 21st 2023. After I compiled and sent information and witness to move my case forward in July 2023 I was told not to call back until the first of the year.

In January after I called them, they have continuously claim they are sending me documents that I have not received.

I even requested they send it snail mail. All I've ever gotten is a automated text message saying they have sent me documents that never show up I have emailed the individual on the automated message twice, still no response.

Company is milking Asbestos trust funds

I received the first 3 "settlement" check. KRW took 40% attorney fees and 55% expenses.

Out of over $2000 they give me $175. They are milking the trust funds for their own benefit and taking advantage of elderly asbestos victims.

This company is definitely taking advantage of people

I feel KRW is definitely a scam and taking advantage of the TRUST FUND as well as the trust of the people they are representing. They keep 80% of each payment.

They come across as caring and trustworthy, but are actually nothing but CROOKS, taking advantage of the system.

I have received two checks. One for 16.00 and one for 28.00.

I just started with the company and now I am beginning to feel the same way as being misled having me to sign release documents, and affidavits over and over again for different reasons without explaining why I’m getting very leery and wondering what can be done about it. Who should you contact to report a suspicious activity?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

My husband signed up with KRW Attorneys At Law for Asbestos.

They take a total of 80% of whatever money he is awarded. Attorney Fees 40% and Expenses 40%.

The Expenses have no details at all. How convenient for KRW Attorneys At Law.

My husband is only getting 20%.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.A CLAIMS.

Yes it’s very different than what they present to you at the beginning. We have sent back many documents that we have signed, have gotten very little from them out of the amounts that were stated as settlements. The lawyers are getting wealthy.

Did your husband get the rest of his money?

I am very happy with KRW. I was in an accident that injured my lower back and neck.

I have L4&5 compressions and C4 is compressed and putting pressure on my spinal cord. I vehicle met with a company F150 truck.

They tried to say the company was going under, so it took some time to get this settled but Mr. Phil Bernal and Nicole Walls was amazing.
