This is not a complaint but an inquiry about the construction that your dealer Kratt Lumber told us.

We purchased new Marvin windows (15) & patio doors (3) prefinished in natural for our entire house about $30,000 worth. We have 2 x6 house construction and existing $400,000 home. We were told by Kratt Lumber that all windows were constructed are the same meaning either 6 or 9 inch and since we needed like 7.5 that they would not make a wood sill of one solid piece of wood but would add an extension jam of 1.5 inch all around the window. The salesperson did not measure correctly when he was out twice & we have to now get extension jams for everything but he was telling us that this is how they would have come regardless. Is this correct? We spent all that money and we don't have a solid piece of wood around the window. ? We love the windows but expected to get a solid piece around the window frames to fill out the entire area, so we were very disheartened about the matter. WE just want that clarified, we are not upset with your product and not pissed off at all but I did not know where else to write to. Thank you Sue and Bill Hammes 608 304 **** Maybe someone could just call us and explain
