Very disturbing organization

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - The DEI session felt counter-productive to responsibility and kindness.
  • - It included blanket generalizations, finger-pointing, and blaming groups.

After sitting through a DEI session with this organization, I couldn't help but feel it was counter-productive to the general idea that we as a society should be responsible for ourselves and kind and fair to others, regardless of what they look like.

This seminar made most of us upset with blanket generalizations, finger-pointing, blaming other groups for everything and a general intolerance, if not an overt racism against others. Shame on this organization.

Why did this happen to me? Because I am a white woman.

Listen to all the on-line recordings of the training sessions she has facilitated, ESPECIALLY those related to the Richard Biltsztos suicide.

This woman is a hateful, vile and dangerous DEI extremist whose primary goal is to destroy white people!

User's recommendation: Avoid at all costs!

Racist company in Canada

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - KOJO Institute trainer Ojo-Thompson lacks knowledge of history.
  • - WSIB concluded her conduct was abusive and vexatious, rising to workplace harassment.

No response, these grifters are cowards

Original review Dec 29, 2023
The KOJO Institute's main trainer, *** Ojo-Thompson, has little knowledge of history and plays the victim when challenged by her students. This is what happened with Richard Bilkszto, a principal at the Toronto District School Board.

He challenged Ms.

Ojo-Thompson and she reacted with vitriol, also making everyone at the Board take her side. The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) of Canada investigated the situation and concluded that "Ojo-Thompson's conduct was abusive, egregious and vexatious, and rises to the level of workplace harassment and bullying."
No one in their right mind should be contracting the KOJO Institute for any kind of training.
Pros:
  • No pros
Cons:
  • Bullying
  • Toxic

Preferred solution: Apology

User's recommendation: Condemn their blatant racism

Kiki Ojo Has Some Anger Management Issues

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - I'm a Black student of Bilkszto who protected me and helped me enter university.
  • - Ojo accused Bilkszto of white supremacy; my aunt feared speaking up.

I am Black woman. I was a student of Richard Bilkszto. My aunt is a principal who attended Kiki Ojos training session.

Ms. Ojo accused Mr. Bilkszto of white supremacy. Little did she know him as a person. If she did, she would have known that he was a genuine person who protected all his students. He loved me for me. He protected me from bullying and helped me into university. I am forever grateful to have been a student of Mr Bilkszto.

I am livid that this woman called him out without even knowing him. My aunt was there and was afraid to speak up. Because speaking up would lead to your name being accosted.

Racism exists. I dont deny it. But we must also be mindful of the things we say. Ms. Ojo is the reason my beloved principal is dead.

Preferred solution: Apology

User's recommendation: Stay away

What’s worse, tdsb paid her $81k for exclusive contract. They don’t pay most of their teachers this amount.

They are claiming that they are out of money and have to cut programs. They should start with cutting the cost of paying useless trainers like Kiki Ojo

I am a person of colour and agree fully. KOJO is an opportunistic organization preying on white guilt. Disgusting.

AI Highlights
  • - Program hates white people.
  • - It blames whites for failures by some Black people using race card.
  • - Some act criminally and won't take responsibility.

Basically a program designed to hate white people and try to hold them accountable for the failures of certain black people who use the race card when they act like a *** , shoot a cop , rob someone, kill innocent children in drive by's , they seem to can't except responsibility nor accountability for personal failures, while others live good lives living in harmony with others and strive ..the only thing holding these idiots back are themselves

And how do you know her? You’re in Edmonton. You never experienced her training session and never experienced being Black.

According to their website, KOJO did online training internationally, which could include companies across Canada. Being black is not a requirement to experiencing or recognizing racism.

There are recordings of that training and the vexatious comments made by this disgusting woman. If you google "KOJO Institute" or "Ojo-Thompson", you'll be able to read the facts in great detail. https://***/P3-5INWmDh4?si=DaBy5U_GhSj6cNJu
