Unethical and unsafe - Kitesource Calgary, Canada
This kiteboarding company claims to supply beginner lessons to the general public. Their gear is not kept up to a safe level and they use tattered old kites to teach people to kiteboard with. The instructors are vain and not communicative with new students. I wouldn't recommend this company for a beginner lesson for kiteboarding. They aren't very safety-conscious at all. This is a high demand, dangerous sport and it is better to learn from experienced people who are caring about safe gear and techniques. I recommend you go elsewhere for a beginner lesson and spare yourself from harm.

Hmmm, this is soo old, but the first time I have come across this site / review. I can assure anyone reading this post that we use current year equipment, are very focused on safety (never had any student hurt in the least) and are a reputable company. Check our instructors out on the IKO website for (none) infractions or real complaints.
