Sent me a cracked bird cage that was very expensive and won't return my calls!
I bought a every expensive cage from kingscages.com. When it arrived, box intact, several parts of the cage were cracked. The website says you have to call and get a return number before you can return something. It has been several days and I have called twice (during their listed business hours) and left two messages and still have not gotten a return call. I have also emailed with pictures of the damage, and still nothing. In order to return something the website says you have to have notified them of the damage within the first 5 days or their return policy will override any claim of damage. It also goes on to say something about defective merchandise having to be returned within 15 days from the invoice date. But of course, none of this can be done without a return number and no one will call you back! I will never deal with this company again and in fact, went out of my way to review them so no one else goes through what I am going through. I am now stuck with a very expensive, visibly damaged cage. Go to http://www.drsfostersmith.com, they have excellent customer service and comparable prices/similar pet bird items.

Purchased a 306 Napolean top for a weekend cage for a Blue & Goldd Macaw. When I picked up the cage the box was undamaged one the outside, but upon assembly I found the seedcatcher dented and missing powder coating.
Since the bird would not come in contact with this part I put it in the back and didn't complain. Within a month I noticed the bird playing with one of the bars. The bar was never fully welded, just tacked. I called King's about this and was told to take the cage to a local welder (yea right, maybe the panel but an assembled 306 is 38" wide 28" deep and 6 ft tall) then to paint the burned off powder coating.
I didn't buy a painted cage and why should I have to pay for welding and painting for their poor welding? I suggested that I could bring them the damaged section for a replacement since I live less than 10 miles from their location and that is where I picked up the cage a month ago. Their reply was that they did not have anymore in stock and weren't expecting any more. I asked why they were still selling them on their website and the person immediately hung up.
I presently have 3 King's Cages but will not have another.
I have welded and re-powder coated the cage. Their poor construction and lack of product support will not affect my birds safety.
